I visit Daddy several times a day while he is working, just to bring a smile to his face (and to make sure he is not slacking off).

I tried some katsuo bushi today. They are fish flakes. No, not fish food…well, actually, yeah, they are kind of like large fish food flakes for humans. They are dried bonito that are shaved really thin with a wood plane. They end up being very light and flavorful. You can often find them dancing on

I am very aware of where everyone it and watch their movements carefully. So when Mommy or Daddy leave the room, I take notice. I take notice and voice my complaints if they both leave the room at the same time. So I saw Mommy leave the living room and tried to follow her, but

Yep, that’s me licking and chewing on Mommy’s legs. I have nothing else to say on the matter except, “Yum!”

It’s nice to be able to sit up on my own now. It makes it so much easier to play with my toys. I can move my arms and hands much more freely which means I can try to eat many more things! Awesome!

We were so busy yesterday that we forgot to take a family Christmas photo. Oops. Here it is, one day late.

I got some new clothes for Christmas! Not only are they super cute, but warm, just in time for the winter! This is just a sample. Expect more fashion shows to come.

*Just to be absolutely clear, I did not get the iPad for Christmas. I got this awesome Anpanman steering wheel. The iPad is just there to help my visualize driving.

What a great Christmas! So much excitement. I’m all tuckered out.

Except for all that crying because of the surprise visitor, we really had fun at our Christmas party. We wish we could have spent Christmas with ALL of our loved ones around the world! I had a little bit of hijiki today. It was mixed in with the rest of my food, so I don’t think I really tasted it. I guess that’s fine. I ate it up without any second thought.

I heard people talking about this big jolly old fellow who is coming to town with gifts. That sounds nice. I wonder if he is here yet. Not here yet. I’ll keep an eye out for him. I’m so eager to meet him. I’m sure I’ll be filled with joy to see him. (Foreshadowing)
