TV antenna

Taking a break from playing by sitting on Mommy’s lap and watching some kids’ shows. As you can see I got my antenna up.

White flag

No, I’m not giving up. It looks like I’m waving a white flag, but I’m just playing with some a gauze handkerchief.

Daddy’s birthday

Daddy woke up to special birthday decorations! Mommy and I worked on it this morning. Well, Mommy did most of the work, but I was there for support, and to get in the way a little. Unfortunately Daddy has to work today, but we plan to have a yakiniku birthday dinner some other time. For

New dinosaur friend

I woke up to a new dinosaur friend in the house. What a nice surprise! He may look a little scary, but he is actually very sweet.

Scrambled eggs and banana on toast

Scrambled eggs were good! I hear that you can eat eggs in many ways and look forward to trying them all. The banana toast was a bit hard to eat with only two teeth, but I was doing alright. Mommy later switched to banana on bread to make it easier for me.

Stepstools

I’m very resourceful and turn all kinds of things around the house into useful tools, like stepstools.

Slide

While at the park, I played on the slide for the first time. It was really fun! But a little scary because of all the crackling I heard due to the static electricity. The sliding part was fun, but my hair standing on end felt a little weird. I like the thrill of the slide

Bubbles at the park

I got to see bubbles at the park for the first time today. Unfortunately, I was quite tired and needed a nap, so my reaction was a very bland. But I did find the bubbles interesting. I’m sure the next time I see them I’ll express more interest.

Tiny black thread

I like climbing, but I also like discovering things. I’m very observant and notice the most unusual things. For example, there is this tiny stray black thread on one of the cushions and I’m always drawn to it. I find it fascinating. I get to wrapped up in it that I sometimes lose my balance.

Trying to tear a mask

Yep, I’m still trying to tear most things I can get my hands on.

Unfolding laundry

I like to help around the house when I can, so I decided to help unfold the laundry, which is a very common household chore. Wait, hold on, I’m being informed that I got it wrong. Not “unfold” laundry, I’m supposed to “fold the laundry”. Okay, that makes more sense. My bad.

Commercials

I’m not a fan of the morning news, but the commercials are interesting. They are always so colorful, musical, and catchy!

Figuring out sliding doors

Okay, so this moves here and slides there, and if I pull or push here…then this goes there…okay, figured it out.

Head down climbing

I’m really good at climbing now. I learned little things that makes it easier and quicker to climb. For instance, if I keep my head forward and down it improves my weight distribution and makes it easier to climb.

Getting dressed in the morning

I’ll be honest, I don’t like getting dressed. I often fuss when Mommy or Daddy tries to put clothes on me. I’d rather run around in my diapers than put clothes on. But I guess I have to wear clothes, especially since it is winter and a bit cold. But if I play with my

Hiragana duck blocks

I had fun playing with my hiragana duck blocks. Daddy was trying to teach me words using the hiragana alphabet, but I just wanted to chew on the blocks and play with the container. Maybe later I’ll want to study, Daddy. For now I just want to play!
