I did it! I told you I would and I did! I pulled myself up to standing. Actually I did it several times today. The first two times Mommy and Daddy didn’t see me pull myself up. They just saw me standing up next to the couch. I had done it so quickly and quietly that the next thing they knew I was standing. They tried to get me to do it again, but I couldn’t. I was nearly there but not quite getting it.
They encouraged me to do it again later in the day and got some photo and video evidence. I just goes to show what you can accomplish when you put your mind to something.
Even though I pulled myself up to standing that doesn’t mean it is easy. It is a lot of work and quite tiring. I tried to do it again, but found it difficult and wanted to give up.
But I am no quitter! So I gave it another go and “Ta-dah!” I pulled myself up to standing again!
Now that I can pull up to standing, I have a feeling that Mommy and Daddy will now start going through the house to moves things around to make sure it is out of my reach. My world just got a lot bigger and far more interesting!
