After my snack today, I started talking a bit. But Mommy and Daddy couldn’t understand what I was saying since the only sounds I can make are “ma” and “uma”. Most of the time I use those sounds to say “Mama” or “umauma” which is the Japanese baby word for food. These are my two favorite things in the world so naturally these are the words I learned first and say the most. But they sound very similar and it can be confusing. So we had speaking practice today where Mommy would tell me if I’m saying “Mama” correctly. You can see how much I’m concentrating and trying hard to practice speaking.
