Another no cry handoff today. I think I’m really getting used to school. In fact I think I might be liking it. I was a bit fussy at home this morning around 8:00. It was almost like I was antsy to get to school.
I had fun playing with my teachers and friends and then it was time for our walk. I fell asleep during our walk and missed out on most of the fun. Like I mentioned yesterday, I think my busy school life is taking a toll on me.
When we got back I ate all my lunch and when it was nap time a slept again. When I woke up from my nap I had a fever. I was feeling fine and was playing and smiling like normal, but my teachers noticed that I was hot to the touch. They noticed that I had a fever but I didn’t. But just to be safe, the school called Daddy and he came to pick me up. While waiting for Daddy, I actually ate my snack and showed a good appetite, which is a good sign. No need to worry about me.
It was unfortunate that I had to go home because I was having such a good time. I also have to stay home tomorrow too, just to be safe. The teachers told Daddy that I was still a good boy and in a good mood despite my fever. They also told him that I was doing very well at school overall, and that I got used the quickest out of my class. Everyone was very proud of me! I think we had all thought that it might take longer, but I surprised everyone, including myself. Well, I’d better concentrate on getting better so that I can go back to school and continue to have a great school life!
