Today was a national holiday, but Daddy had to work (that’s just the kind of job he has). So I got to spend the whole afternoon with Mommy! We had so much fun! It has been a while since we’ve spent the afternoon together just the two of us! Except for last Friday and one of my sick days, it has been over a month since Mommy has been home in the afternoon on a weekday. I miss our time together, but understand that she has to work. After all, have you seen how much I eat?
We had so much fun that I was so exhausted by my bedtime that I fell asleep while nursing. it was a very deep cheek-smooshing sleep.
