I woke up today feeling so much better than before. It was a pretty tough three days, but I was a trooper and made it through and was even able to have some fun too! I’m glad that my fever subsided before school today. I was back to normal and happy to be at school, but just to be on the safe side I stayed back at the nursery school while the others went for their walk.
I wasn’t alone. One of my classmates also had a fever over the weekend and missed out on the excursion to the zoo as well. Daddy was talking to his mother and it seems that he has been getting a lot of fevers as well and has not had a full week of school yet. I guess that babies our age all get a lot of fevers at the beginning of starting school. It must be our immune system building up its defenses.
Being back at school was great, but I think I should work on being a more attentive student. I wasn’t really paying attention during our safety lecture today.
