Cotton Candy Grapes

I ate some cotton candy grapes today. They are these grapes that Daddy found at Costco. They were more expensive than the grapes he usually buys but knows how much Mommy likes fruits so got it for her as a treat. And you know what, they are great! They really do taste like cotton candy. […]

Pointing out preference

Now that I’ve mastered pointing at things, I’m finally putting it to good use. Instead of using it just to show people what I see, now I can communicate what I want. So when eating a meal I can indicate to Mommy and Daddy what food I want to eat next. Pretty useful!

Long hair

I think it is about time for a haircut. My hair is getting to be out of control. But I have a feeling that it is a form of entertainment for Mommy and Daddy. They like to mess around with it a lot.

Breakfast done

I had a great breakfast and am ready for a great day! But first, my morning book.

Applesauce pack

I’ve had applesauce before. You may remember my first taste of apples back in November of last year. But I’ve always had fresh made applesauce, or more like grated apples. Today I had some applesauce from a pack. I’ve got to say, I like this one better. A lot less tart and much more convenient.

Early morning playtime

I’ve been waking up early in the morning recently. Sometimes it is around 5 and sometimes as early as 4. I don’t really know why. The problem is that when I wake up early in the morning and see Mommy and Daddy in bed, I can’t put myself back to sleep. So I just cry

Dinner manners

Yeah, I know I have to work on my table manners. I just get so excited that I can’t contain myself. My chair can’t even contain me!

Me and the boys

It goes without saying that I went to school without problem and without tears. Even after three days off in the middle of the week I was happy to arrive at school and went to my teacher without complaint. At school I had a lot of fun playing and going for a walk. On our

More Boys’ Day Celebration

I made a Boys’ Day Koi Nobori card at nursery school! Pretty cute, yeah? The koi are made out of my footprints. I think I might have had the biggest koi for my age level. Very hearty fish. Oh, and of course I did not eat the mochi. Mommy took care of that for me.

Toy box

My toy box is always a lot of fun. I can rediscover toys that I hadn’t seen in a while and they become new toys all over again! And my toy box is quite big so it can hold a lot of things. The problem is that it is quite big and it can get

Jungle gym

I ventured over to the jungle gym today. I’ve been down the slide several times, but I hadn’t explored this side before. There are these large flower discs on rails. It is kind of like my beads on rails toy at home, but bigger! More fun to be had! Oh, and there was dirt/sand and

I still love the swings at the park! I don’t think I’ll ever get tired of them. It is so much fun and I’m always all smiles!

Standing practice is fun

Still not standing. I practice from time to time, but it is more fun than serious effort.

Going to the park with Mommy

As you can see, I had a great time at the park with Mommy! It was a really nice day and we were able to relax and explore in comfort. I stress the word comfort because on the way back I wanted to be even more comfortable. So I took off my sock, tossed my

Little boss

Even though I’m the youngest, smallest, and most inexperienced person in the household, it feels like I’m the boss around here. Everyone takes care of all of my needs and they seem to be at my beck and call. When I want to play, we play!
