Napping with my truck and doggy

Mommy and Daddy have been giving me my doggy (previously Mommy’s doggy “House”) to nap and sleep with. Sometimes he comforts me and helps me sleep and sometimes I toss him aside because I associate him with going to bed. Today I was a little greedy and wanted to take my nap with not just […]

Playing separated by a door

I like to follow Mommy and Daddy when they leave the living room, but sometimes they close the door at the kitchen. So I sit there and wait for them to come back. But the door opens inward so they are stuck outside. It’s fine. We still find ways to play together, even with a

Daddy taking a morning nap

I am a handful and I know that Mommy and Daddy have not gotten much sleep since…well, since I was born. So they take catnaps here and there. Daddy found that the best way to nap is to form a barrier to keep me in a safe area so that I don’t wander off when

A lot of footage of a busy morning

We don’t know when I’m going to stand or walk so it seems that I always have a camera on me hoping to capture the moment. Alas, a lot of footage of a busy morning, but no walking.

Relaxing car play under the table

I’ll play with my cars all over the place. Even when it looks like I’m sleepy and ready for a nap, I’ll still play with my cars.

Cushion

Can cushions be fun? Yes. They are nice soft and fun.

My chair

I’m usually so busy moving around that I don’t have time to sit in my chair unless someone plants it right in front of the TV. But every so often I just need a break and need a place to sit. It is at these times that I appreciate my chair.

Tantrums or break dancing

I sometimes throw mini tantrums when I get frustrated or upset about something. It is hard to be a baby and not be able to communicate what you want. Even my teachers at nursery school have seen this side of me and said it looks like I’m break dancing when I throw my little tantrums.

Good eaters

My classmates and I are all good eaters! We love our meal time and snack time and eat quite happily! That makes our teachers very happy and also the nutritionists who make our food. They do such a good job, I hope they know how much we appreciate the delicious and healthy food they make

Legos out, Legos in

I pretty much play with my Legos every day. That means that they are almost always scattered on the floor. But from time to time I actually make an effort to put them back into the box. (Only to dump them back out again, but still, it is progress.)

Hard button to press

I love dancing to my Koi nobori greeting card music, but I always need Mommy or Daddy to press the button to start the music. I know where the button is and how to press it, but I just can’t press it hard enough right now. Luckily Mommy and Daddy are always happy to help

Weaning & Milk

For about two weeks I have been weaning off breast milk. It was a little hard to adjust at the beginning, but I think I’m getting used to it. Even before I was weaned I already was only being nursed first thing in the morning and right before bed. Then we started to skip my

Playing on the mat

Our teachers at nursery school brought out the mats for us to play with. We had a lot of fun climbing, tumbling and rolling around. For some reason we bunched up when we played and bumped up against each other quite a bit, but that was part of the fun!

Plate face

These days when my food is gone I start to lick my plate. I don’t want to waste even the tiniest morsel of food or slightest bit of flavor.

Sleep on our walk

Even though everyone else was very excited to be on our walk, I was feeling quite sleepy. I must have looked pretty sleepy too because the girl who was sitting next to me started to stroke my hair. And then I was fast asleep.

On and around the couch

Sometimes it looks like I’m going to relax on the couch and then off I go to do other things.

Wet wipes

Better wipe my hands before I eat breakfast! I don’t want any germs.
