Hugging my sleeping buddy

I was not quite attached to stuffed animals, but starting last month my doggy would join me for my naps and and when I went to bed. I started to show a more cuddly side to my sleeping buddy and other stuffed animals. So when I saw my sleeping buddy when I came home today […]

Dried leaves

Our walks at school are always so fun no matter what we do. There is so much to see. Even simple dried leaves are interesting and a learning experience.

Large envelope

Daddy was messing around with a large envelope that came in the mail. We can have fun with almost any object. I would put toys it in and Daddy would dump it out. He also tried to put it on my head like a hat but it wouldn’t fit. It wasn’t that large of an

Walk in the stroller

We had another nice walk at school today. Have you noticed that I’m often in the stroller and not the buggy anymore? In fact, I can’t remember the last time I rode in the buggy. The teacher’s haven’t told me anything directly, but I wonder if I’m in the stroller because I’m too big for

Udon

After seeing how much I liked udon at dinner the other night, Mommy and Daddy are now serving it to me more often. I even have it for breakfast! You might be able to tell from my bib that I’m not a huge fan of the wakame (seaweed). I delicately push it aside in my

Acorns

There is always so much to see on our walks at school. Today we found a lot of acorns on the ground. I though they were pretty cool, and when my teacher showed me the bag of all the acorns we had collected I got really excited! So many acorns just lying around for us!

Bus spotting

Our walk to school in the morning is filled with one of my favorite hobbies: bus spotting. Every time I see a bus, no matter how far down the street it is, I wave to it. Even as it is driving away, I keep waving until it is out of sight. Every so often the

Morning off to a rough start

I thought the morning was going to be okay but when I finished my breakfast I realized that I was still hungry, so that put me in a bit of a mood. And once I’m in a mood I get upset about everything. I didn’t want to get changed and was nearly throwing a fit

Happy Birthday Mommy!

Today was Mommy’s birthday, so Daddy and I surprised her with some birthday cake and we also got her some birthday presents! She seemed really happy about it! We sang happy birthday to her, and I tried to help blow out the candles but I still haven’t figured out how to do it. Mommy took

Indoor obstacle course

It was rainy today, so we couldn’t go outside for our normal morning walk. Instead, our teachers set up an indoor obstacle course with mats and tunnels. We had a bunch of fun going through the circuit and coming out of the tunnel with a peekaboo “Bah!”

Mommy leaving for work

Most mornings I understand that Mommy has to leave for work and I am okay with it. This morning, I was not okay with it! When she had to go I started crying and reaching out for her. It was surprising! Eventually I calmed down and was back to normal, but it took a while.

Laughing super hard from tickle attacks

Daddy and he was tickling me so much and I laughed so hard that I thought I might pass out! My laughter almost sounded like I was being tortured. But it was actually all fun! I hope everyone of all ages has moments when they laugh so hard that they nearly pass out. It just

Walking and riding at school

When we got to school today there were other kids being dropped off so we had to wait a bit. I had fun toddling around and looking at the pictures and books that they have in the waiting room. After my weekend of so much walking, I was eager to show off my walking skills

Happy morning

I’m ready for school, so I figured I’d just watch my kids’ shows and join in on a few dances.

Early celebration dinner

Who wants to go out to dinner to have an early celebration for Mommy’s birthday? I do, I do! We went to yakiniku to celebrate Mommy’s birthday. It is a bit early, but it would be difficult to go out on a weekday because Mommy and Daddy get home a bit late after work. I

Visiting Baaba

We visited Baaba today and ended up having a great time! I started off crying, still not familiar with Jiiji and Baaba’s house. It took me a bit to calm down and remember that I had been here several times before and had fun here before. Once I reacquainted myself with the house there was

Snack at the park with a sad end

After so much walking I need a snack. Yum! Apple sauce! And it’s gone. Waaaaahhhhh! At least I still have my bubbles.
