Walk in the park
What a nice day for a walk in the park with my classmates and teachers!
In Japan when you answer something correct you hear a “pin-pon” bell to signify that you got it right. When you get it wrong there is a buzzer that sounds like “bu-bu”. I learned from my kids’ shows how to say “bu-bu” and kind of make the X sign with my hands.
Like I mentioned before, I’ve been waking up around 7 lately. I don’t even cry when I wake up, I just roll around and wait for Daddy to notice that I’m up. Then we begin our morning routine on a tighter schedule. Even when I wake up at 7, we try to be out the
I usually eat dinner before Mommy and Daddy. But sometimes they start getting their dinner ready as I eat. When I saw a bowlful of tomatoes on the table I just had to have some. So I asked nicely and got a few servings. I’m afraid I did not leave much for Mommy or Daddy,
Before I used to like our school walks because I got to go outside. But now that I’m toddling around a lot I feel that our walks are lacking of walking. Sometimes the rides in the stroller or buggy to our destination where we can walk around and explore is too long. Are we there
I’ve been sleeping quite well lately. I don’t wake up in the middle of the night that much anymore. And I wake up later than I used to. Before I’d be up before or around 6, but nowadays it is closer to 7 or even past. I must be having a growth spurt if I
Ooh that looks nice. Maybe a splash more blue and a streak of red. A little more detail here, just a dab there. Must concentrate to get it just right.
When we go shopping these days, I am allowed to walk around on my own. Actually, I usually start off in a cart but I kind of escape and end up walking around. And I automatically seek out anything Anpanman. I don’t try to buy the things, I just like finding them and pointing them
Mommy needed some pokey chestnuts for school, so she bought some fake ones from the 100 yen shop (dollar store). They were probably not as pokey as the real thing, but still pretty pokey. Interesting…now I’m done touching them.
I tried on the Halloween costume that Grandma made for me, and while I think it is super cute, I was a bit uncomfortable. Not only was it hot today to begin with, but I just wasn’t used to wearing a body suit. I think it will take some practice. Either that or an understanding
I was trying to show off to Grandma and Grandpa by showing them how I can throw a ball really well, which I usually can, but today I ended up dropping it behind my head. Weird. I must have the yips or something.
While walking around the shopping center I saw that they had a train for kids going around and around. I just had to ride it! I made my wish known by pointing at the train and whining a lot! When we got into line we realized that I was not the only one who felt
After breakfast I wandered around and started playing on the rocking bug and the slide that they had at the shopping center. Daddy had a hard time following me around because I was very fast and indecisive. I couldn’t stick to one activity for very long. I kept changing my mind and playing in a
While waiting for Mommy and Daddy’s breakfast to arrive, I already ate at home, I had fun watching traffic and pointing out all the buses. Every so often I also spotted a train go by on the track. So much to watch! When Mommy and Daddy’s breakfast arrived I forgot that I had already eaten
I’m finally okay with wearing a backpack. You may remember that my first experience with a backpack was not very pleasant. But when Daddy suggested that I try it today I happily agreed and I was off!
I had such a great time at Umi no Nakamichi that I was absolutely exhausted and ended up taking a nap on the ride home.
