Still under the weather

I’m still not feeling great. I still have a slight fever and when I get tired the smallest things set me off. I don’t like this at all!

Wanting the big cup

Mommy and Daddy always have much bigger cups than me. I want that! They also have cooler straws too. I want that too! I just want all the grownup things that they have.

Daddy car garage and racecars

Daddy always is happy to play with me. He likes to play cars with me, but even allows me to play cars on him. He was my parking garage today. Later he taught me about how racecars are so fast that they just zoom by and you have to turn your head quickly to keep

Outing with Daddy

Mommy had a meeting today and since I still couldn’t go to school because of my lingering fever, Daddy took a half day to watch me. We went out to take a drive and ended up stopping for a mid-morning snack. Even though I was still feverish, I was pretty well behaved. After my snack

Smothering and fish-hooking Daddy

When Daddy comes home I am so happy that we get to play together. And as you know fathers and sons tend to roughhouse. Today I smothered Daddy with a cushion and fish-hooked him. It was all in good fun.

Another visit from Obachan

You can tell that Obachan is worried about me. She stopped by again today to see how I was doing and to play with me. I was happy to see her! We watched some trains on YouTube together. They weren’t just normal trains. They were Anpanman trains. So that meant there were two of my

Still not feeling great

Can you believe that I’m still not over my cold? I went to the doctor to get tested and it isn’t COVID-19 or the flu, it is just the cold. But it will not go away. I’m still eating fairly well, but I’m just not in a good mood. I don’t like feeling this way

Home from school

I feel much better this morning. The medicine and good night’s sleep brought down my fever. Feeling better, I got myself all prettied up for school. But I still had a slight fever so I stayed home from school again today. That’s too bad. But, I had a nice surprise visit from Obachan who heard

Being sick sucks

I was feeling okay enough to go to school today. I was okay, but not great. I played with my teachers and friends, but I was not myself. I had a few tantrums and even tried to hit and bite one of my friend. I didn’t mean it. Recently I’m controlling my tantrums a bit

The medicine is helping my cold, but I’m not sure if I’m fit to go to school today. I don’t have a fever, but I still have my cough and I’m not feeling myself. I didn’t even play with my toys this morning. I just wanted to relax and watch TV. Then when Daddy left

Toilet time

I’m slowly accustoming myself to my potty. I’m not using it yet, but I am feeling comfortable going to the toilet. I also understand that toilet time is private time so I get some time alone.

Stealing Mommy’s sandwich

We went to the doctor’s office which was at a shopping center. So after I got examined and got my medicine, we had lunch at a restaurant there. Mommy brought my lunch, but I though her lunch looked much tastier. So I stole her sandwich and ate her bread, after removing the egg. Mommy was

Home with a cold

This past weekend was a bit tough and I was feeling a bit under the weather. I had a runny nose and developed a pretty bad cough. I was hoping that I would be well enough to go to school today but I registered a fever at school and had to spend the day at

Shopping tantrum

I was not in a good mood because I am coming down with a cold so we decided to go for a drive. I was a lot happier in the car so we then stopped by the supermarket to pick up some food. I was okay for while and helped out with the shopping. But

Jumping Cheerios

I was trying to eat my snack but those active Cheerios were jumping all over the place. It was so funny. In the end I got them all and finished my snack. Yum!

Nap in bed

Two days in a row I napped in bed. Not in my crib, but in Mommy and Daddy’s bed. Instead of carrying me and rocking me to sleep, or putting me in my crib, Daddy laid down with me and kept me company as I went down for my nap. Daddy and I had a

Rough night, rough morning

I’m not feeling so hot. I think I might be coming down with a cold. I had a bit of a rough night. And rough nights lead to rough mornings…for everyone. Daddy doesn’t look so hot either. A rough night does not allow for the best hairstyles. I think I need a hug.
