Personal shopper

On our way back from the park we stopped to get some groceries. I was very helpful and helped Mommy and Daddy look for things and helped carry them to the cart. Sometimes I needed convincing that we didn’t need to buy certain snacks or Anpanman products, but I was a good boy and listened […]

Choo-choo train in the park

There is a park in town that has an old choo-choo train on display, so we went to check it out. It was really cool and a lot bigger than I thought! I hadn’t realized. We couldn’t go in and walk around but we took a good look at it form the outside. I was

Snack time

I had my snack of apples and pancakes, but I was still hungry after I ate everything. I wanted more pancakes, but we didn’t have any. Instead I got crackers. They were so yummy!

Busy morning

I had a busy morning of checking on drawers, practicing using chopsticks, dancing at breakfast, cleaning up my dishes, getting fist bumps, chatting with Grandma and Grandpa, playing with my toys, and practicing my vocabulary.

Looking through MagnaTiles

While playing with MagnaTiles tonight, Daddy and I discovered that they are kind of translucent and if we put them right up against our faces we can kind of see through them. Cool!

Food improves my mood

Oh boy do I get hangry! But once I get some food in my belly, I’m a very different person!

Upset about socks

Oh dear. I got very upset about my socks today. I wanted to take them off but I wanted Mommy to take them off as well. I want to do it myself but I wasn’t in a mood to do it myself and was upset that Mommy wasn’t helping and I was upset that she

Flowers and finding

We had a nice walk to the park today and saw some pretty flowers. We even found some cool things in the grass. Now that it is almost spring, there are a lot more plants for us to discover. I’m getting excited about the upcoming cherry blossom season. I can’t wait to se sakura again!

Last to wake

Mommy and Daddy suspect that I might be growing again. I’ve been eating and sleeping a lot more than usual as of late. I wonder how much bigger I can get. I’m already pretty big for my age. I’m not even two yet, but I look as big as some 3-year-olds.

Fast eater

Often I eat very quickly, almost to a point where it is no longer safe. Mommy and Daddy don’t want me to choke so they tell me to slow down or take smaller bites, but I can’t hold back. I’m hungry and everything tastes so good! Mommy, if you want me to slow down, then

Joining English lesson

Today my class joined the older kids’ class for their English lesson. They have an English lesson every week and we had joined in for parts of the lesson here and there. But since we will be moving up to the big kids’ class in April, we stayed for the whole lesson to get used

Morning play

When I wake up early and eat my breakfast and get ready quickly, I have a lot of time to play and watch some TV. So that is exactly what I do.

Bedtime books

Just finishing the day with a bedtime book. I nice way to end a great day!

Playing with doggies

Recently I like to pretend play with my doggies. I like to include them in all my play and learning. So tonight I played cars with them, shared with them, and even had them join me to read some books.

Dinner requests

When I eat, I often tell Mommy and Daddy what I want. After I finish eating I’ll sign that I want apples or oranges. Sometimes during a meal I’ll sign for milk. If I want more food, which is almost always, I’ll sign and say so. Sometimes I have to remind Mommy that although she

“I heard an ambulance”

As usual, when we went for our walk at school today, I was on alert for any vehicles we may see. I’m usually the first to spot buses going by or airplanes flying overhead. And I’m also the first to hear certain vehicles as well. I’m actually quite good at identifying vehicles based on the

Sneaking off to do some morning work

Mommy was getting my stuff ready for school when she found me sitting at Daddy’s desk getting some work done. I had some time before school, so I figured why not sneak in some work time. Mommy was impressed that I climbed up onto the office chair and pulled myself up to the desk all

Yum RAISIN bread

I like raisin bread, emphasis on the raisins. Sure, I like bread too. But I love picking out all the raisins and eating them first.

Visiting Baaba and Jiiji

It has been a while since we saw Baaba and Jiiji so I left school early and hopped on a train with Mommy to go visit them. They were so happy to see me. I was also very happy to see them and did not cry at all when I saw them. I’ve warmed up
