Pink ball and playing train
When we went to the park today our teachers brought a lot of balls for us to play with. I grabbed the pink ball and would not let go of it. I was playing with it by holding it and walking around the park. I really like that pink ball! As I was taking my
Solo train
After dinner, I like to play with my toys. I’d rather play with my toys with Daddy, but he’s been coming home late lately because of his new promotion at work. He tries to come home as early as he can and always is happy to play with me, sing to me, and read to
Play dough
We played with play dough at school today. (Not the name brand one, a homemade one.) It was fun to explore the texture and feel of it, but I really started to have fun when our teacher gave me a toy spoon and knife. I pretended to cook and was working on the chopping. Daddy
Mommy’s illustration of me
Mommy finished a little illustration she made of me. It was based on a picture from the weekend. I look very focused on and content with my drink box. I think it is a very good illustration and emphasizes my anime-ish features.
Stages of dinner time
When we get home from school I usually entertain myself as Mommy gets dinner ready. I’m usually very well behaved and quite patient. When you see my dinner, you’ll see why. Look at all the yummy food that Mommy prepares for me! I know it’s worth the wait so I’m very good about being patient.
Birthday party and park
Some of my classmates had a birthday party at school today. I really liked their cake crowns and pretended to eat them whenever I got close. It was pretend, but it was still delicious. When we went to the park I had fun playing in the sand. I was pretending to cook. I like helping
Big anime eyes
People often comment about how big my eyes are. Some say they look like anime or cartoon character eyes. They’re not wrong. Mommy and Daddy sometimes comment that it looks like someone drew my eyes. (Especially the eyelashes). But sometimes I don’t like all the attention. Please, don’t look at me.
Rainy day, indoor mats
It is the rainy season in Japan and rain prevented us from going on our walk again today. Our teachers set up some mats so we got exercise and had a lot of fun indoors. It is not the same as going to the park, but it is still very enjoyable!
Short walk
We headed out for our morning walk only to have it cut short by some rain. It is okay. I had fun playing with some connecting blocks at school. As you can see I was very into it and concentrating very hard.
Balloon soccer
Just practicing my soccer skills around the house. We don’t have a soccer ball but this balloon served as a good substitute. I dribble around the house a bit and maintained pretty good control. I can’t wait to try out my skills with a real soccer ball.
Morning “training”
I can’t get enough of vehicles. First thing in the morning the first thing on my mind is vehicles. Today I had trains on my mind so I dove right into a train book I borrowed.
More corn on the cob
I loved the corn on the cob that we had the other day so much that I just had to have some more! Luckily it seems to be in season so I can get a lot of fresh corn on the cob for pretty cheap. I just have to know where to shop.
Getting a “book bag”
We were chatting with Nana and Papa when we mentioned to them that we had visited the library and picked up some books. When they asked about what books we borrowed I rushed of to get Daddy’s bag and dragged it over. Then we showed them all the books.
