Dinner in Nakagawa

Tonight we had dinner with Jiiji, Baaba, and Obachan in Nakagawa, Mommy’s hometown. We went to a different restaurant that was recommended by Jiiji and Baaba. it was pretty tasty. At dinner I got a surprise present from Obachan. She had been shopping and saw that a toy ambulance was on sale and bought it […]

Check your mirrors

When driving, it is always important to check your mirrors. You never know what might be approaching.

Doggies in a high chair

I was pretending to be a baby in my high chair and had my doggies keep me company. It turns out that there is much to do when pretending to be a baby and I needed some interaction.

Wooden vehicles puzzle

Nana and Papa got me these cool vehicles puzzles when the came to visit and I work on them from time to time. I pretty good at them and usually don’t need much help. But today I challenged myself by dumping them all out in a pile before starting work on them, instead of doing

Parking garage full

I love playing with my cars and my parking garage. My cars come in all kinds of sizes so it is not always easy to get them all to fit, but I do a pretty good job. There are pileups sometimes though.

Towel dresses

The newest fashion fad: towel dresses! I’m really into it and request that I have a few towel dresses made for me after I finish my bath. Tonight I am going for simply elegant.

New hat

My new hat arrived today! It is a Doctor Yellow Shinkansen hat! It is so cool! I really liked my old hat too, but it was getting pretty small. As I grow taller I guess my head is growing bigger as well. Also, my old hat had dinosaurs on it, which is fine, but as

Chasing dragonflies

Today when we went to the park for our walk we saw a bunch of dragonflies flying around. We all started to chase them. They were much too fast for us and we weren’t able to catch a single one.

Stamping

We did some arts and crafts today at school. We got some sponges and did some stamping. I did pretty good. By the way, I was not in a great mood this morning. To everything my teachers asked me to do I said, “Suru jya nai. Shinai.” or “I’m not going to. I won’t do

Walking home

As much as I don’t like to walk at school, I usually don’t mind walking on my own when Mommy picks me up from school.

Walking on the return

Recently I don’t really like to walk on our walks. If I can I try to catch a ride in the stroller. On today’s walk I headed out on the stroller, but on the way back I decided to walk. It doesn’t sound like much of an accomplishment but I had been having an off

Waiting for dinner

When we get home from school I know that Mommy has to cook dinner so I usually find ways to entertain myself. Sometimes I watch some shows, but usually I just play with my cars until dinner is ready.

Books at school

We love our books at school. Especially vehicle books. My friends and I just love reading vehicle books and looking at all the pictures. By the way, I’ve been talking a lot more at school recently. I call my friends’ names, “–kun” which is the boy version of “-chan”. Also when going for our walk

String cheese

Did you know that cheese comes in string form? It was fun to eat and it was very delicious!

Happy Happy Meal

We heard that the McDonald’s Happy Meal toys were trains so we went there for lunch. While they were getting the food ready my toy arrived. I was very happy to find a Kagayaki Shinkansen! I played with it for a bit but then put it away when my food arrived. I was very happy
