English Lesson

We had an English lesson today at school and I did very well at finding the animals. Of course, it is not much of a lesson for me because English is one of my first languages, still it is fun!

At the park I ran around saying, “Kabata-sensei, Kabata-sensei”. (My teacher’s name is Kawabata-sensei, but I can’t quite get it right. I’m getting closer. I used to say “Kaba-sensei”. ”Kaba” is hippopotamus in Japanese.). She saw how excited I was to be at the park and asked me what I wanted to do. I told her, “Look for grasshoppers,” in Japanese. Then I held her hand and we looked for grasshoppers. We found a few and I was actually able catch them.
