Daddy came home earlier than usual today and found that Mommy and I had just finished dinner. As a treat, he suggested we go get some ice cream. I was very excited about this, but then paused and said, “No, buibui.” It took Mommy and Daddy a few seconds to understand what I was talking about, but then they got it. ”Buibui” is the sound the hair clippers make. I don’t really like haircuts, but I especially don’t like the hair clippers buzzing noise, buibui. I only tolerate it because Mommy and Daddy make special exceptions and try to reward me for getting my haircut. They let me watch YouTube and feed me a special dessert.
So today when I heard that I could eat ice cream I just assumed that meant that I was getting a haircut. Mommy and Daddy had a good chuckle and assured me that we were just going to get ice cream as a treat, no strings attached. Hey, you can’t fault my logic. Based on past experiences, I usually only get special desserts when getting a haircut. Anyway, I was happy to get a special dessert just for being a good boy.

The ice cream was delicious!
