I came out to show her the pants hat Daddy made for me and showed it to Mommy with a goofy face that cracked her up.
It was a snowy day today, but that didn’t stop us from having a great time flying our kites in the park. In fact, it was so much fun that when our teachers told us that it was time to go back, I said, “No! I’m not going back!” It was just too much fun.
Today we had a fire drill. As usual, we listened intently as our teachers explained what to do in case of a fire or earthquake. After the instruction we also practiced how to protect ourselves. We all did very well. It was a rainy day today so we couldn’t go out for a walk. Instead
I got ready really quick today so that I could have more morning driving practice.
When my friend came over, one of the first things we did was prepare today’s dessert. We each got our own flavor of Fruiche (fruit yogurt mix) and we did a very good job mixing it. It looked so delicious that it was hard to wait for it to firm up before we ate it.
I’m usually good about cleaning up after I play. But I can be very particular about how I clean up. I can even waver about my position on cleaning up at that time.
Mommy got some old milk cartons and made a bikkuri bako (surprise box) for me. I definitely was surprised, but the first time did not work as well as she wanted. The second time was very surprising. Even Mommy was surprised.
Today we had a crafts activity that I didn’t really want to do. I finished quickly and then found some quiet time with a book. I love reading books. Especially picture encyclopedias. My favorite ones are of cars of course.
My new thing is to practice driving in the car. It all started when I found my baby toy steering wheel and found it fun to practice driving with that. Then I would ask to sit in the car to push some buttons. Recently I have been asking to practice driving where I press buttons,
On our walk today we saw some pretty flowers on display. I liked all the different colors! We also saw some dogs and ducks when we walked through the park. It is amazing how much there is to see on a short walk.
The older kids’ had aerobics class today and I was very interested in it. My teachers noticed my interest and invited me to join, but was too shy and I elected to just watch from the sidelines.
