Fever

I’ve been a bit under the weather these past few days. I actually went home early from school on Friday because of a runny nose, cough, and a mild fever. I have been in a considerably good mood, but just a bit run down with a smaller appetite than usual. But today my fever got […]

Park picnic and play

We decided to go to the park for a picnic today. It was quite nice outside and we had a great lunch. Then we had a lot of fun playing. I am a creature of repetition so we did the same things over and over. Daddy and I sat on these rocking bugs and I

Sunday morning TV

Nothing says Sunday morning more than cuddling in a blanket to lazily watch TV.

Calendar future

Mommy and Daddy got me a cool daily calendar with Tomica (like Japan’s version of HotWheels) on it. I enjoy opening a new page every day. But I enjoy it even more looking ahead at all the cool cars and trucks to come.

Posing

I can be a ham sometimes and really shine for the camera. I can be bright-eyed and bushy-tailed even early in the morning. Daddy…not so much.

Funny video

I have a very sensitive funny bone and when I find something funny I find it hilarious! Mommy showed me a funny video and I cracked up over it again and again. I kept making her play it for me. It was so funny!

Running

We did a lot of running at the park. We ran after balls. We ran after each other. We even had a race. But for the most part we just ran for the fun of it. While at the park I also reported on the vehicles that we saw. “There is a mail truck.” “There

Ice cream = haircut

Daddy came home earlier than usual today and found that Mommy and I had just finished dinner. As a treat, he suggested we go get some ice cream. I was very excited about this, but then paused and said, “No, buibui.” It took Mommy and Daddy a few seconds to understand what I was talking about, but then

Kites and bubbles

Today was a sunny day so we went to the park to fly the kites that we made. It was so much fun! They really did fly! Well, they didn’t exactly soar, but they were off the ground for the most part. We also played with bubbles. First our teacher blew bubbles and then we

Topknot pants hat

Today’s pre-bath pants hat looked like a topknot. I liked how the waistband squished down on my eyes. Daddy tried to fix it so it didn’t but I insisted he put it back down.

“I love you”

These past few days when Daddy has been giving me my bath I have been randomly telling him “happy” out of the blue. We might be in the middle of a conversation or I might be getting my hair shampooed when I just say “happy”. Often more than once. I think this makes Daddy very happy to hear. Daddy

Indoor fun

It was rainy today so we couldn’t go for our walk at school. Instead we played on the trampoline. The trampoline was fun, but I enjoyed lining up for it more because it was like I was a train on a track. We also made and decorated kites. We plan to fly them the next

Expressing my body

This is my body, and it is beautiful! It is important to express your body in its true form. (By the way, that is my pants on my head.)

Pre-dinner and dinner

After a long school day, I just want to sit back, relax, and watch some TV. Mommy is nice enough to do all the cooking to allow me this much needed me-time. Then I get to enjoy the wonderful meal that she prepares. Thank you, Mommy!

Shrine visit

On our school walk we visited the nearby shrine. I was not that excited since I had just been there a couple of days ago. But there were some new things to see. We all enjoyed looking at the different stalls that lined the streets nearby. We also enjoyed a monkey performance. Boy that is

Winter time baths

The hardest thing about winter time baths is getting out of the bath. It is so nice and warm in the bath that coming out is quite a shock. I don’t even want to get unwrapped from my towel to put clothes on. It is just too cold!

Mommy and Daddy at the park

I always have fun at the park, but today I made extra sure that Mommy and Daddy also joined in on the fun. They had a ton of fun, but I think I may have worn them out. I might have to take their age into consideration next time.
