Rhythm and clay
We had our rhythmic movement class today. We worked up quite a sweat moving to the music. We also played with clay today. We made cookies with cookie cutters. I made a bunch and offered them to my teacher. “Here you go. Please eat it.”
Wild hair
It looks like my hair is getting a bit long. I may need a haircut soon. I’m not looking forward to that.
Bubbles and running
Today at the park we asked to play with bubbles and our request was answered. We had a lot of fun running around chasing the bubbles. We also played Red light, green light. We understood the rules, but we kind of made the game Green light, green light. We ran around so much that we
I love you
I am such a loving little boy. I tell Mommy and Daddy that I love them almost every day. Not just as a response from them telling me that they love me. Out of the blue I’ll tell them, “I love you!” I also check in to see how they are doing by asking, “Are
Breakfast
I used to eat breakfast in my high chair, but during these winter months it has been too cold to sit there. So I started bundling myself under a blanket on the couch while sitting on Daddy’s lap. It is very comfy and I don’t intend to return to the high chair for breakfast. The
Friend in my book
In one of the books I borrow from school a lot there is a family going on a trip: a mother, little boy, and little girl. I have been calling the little girl “Kana-chan”, the name of my friend. So the story that I made is one where Mommy is taking Kana-chan and me on
Daddy tricking me to eat
Tonight we had some mushrooms on the menu that I was not a big fan of. I have eaten them before but I was being a little picky. Daddy tried to trick me into eating it by showing me that he was going to eat it. It almost work but his “distraction” also distracted me
“Viva!”
There is a Japanese professional baseball player who plays for the Fukuoka Softbank Hawks who has a celebratory pose when he hits a homerun. He does a “V” gesture and says “Viva!” Obachan is a big Hawks fan and follows the games a lot. She showed me the pose and it kind of stuck. “Viva!”
Pizza
A Pizza Hut arrived in our area and we decided to give it a try. We had thought about it before but it was a bit pricier than we were used to. But today there was a really good deal so we took advantage of it. But we realized the deal was for take out
New car transporter
As I planned, I went and got a new toy with the Valentine’s day money that Nana and Papa sent me. I chose a car transporter. I also cleared out some of my old toys. They were mainly the cheap freebies that I got with kids’ meals at restaurants. I traded in quantity for quality.
Sleeping with one eye open
I’m actually asleep but it looks like one eye is open and watching you. Let that be a warning! I see everything! Even when sleeping!
Belly button cleaning
Just a little belly button cleaning. It was very ticklish. I’m not sure if my belly button got any cleaner but I laughed a lot!
Naked baby crawling
I felt like being a baby again today. So what does a baby do? It crawls. And it is sometimes naked. So, here I am, a naked crawling baby.
Gardening
Spring is almost upon us so Daddy and I decided to revive our garden. I helped a lot to get it ready. I helped to plant the seeds and water everything. Now we just have to wait.
Sharing persuasion
I got some Valentine’s Day money from Nana and Papa and decided to buy a new toy with it. I was trying to decided whether to get a car transporter or tow truck. In bed I announced that I was going to get a car transporter. Then I ensured that I would share it with
Sesame and cucumbers
I like helping out with cooking because it helps me understand why eating is so much fun. At the restaurant I ground my own sesame seeds for my tonkatsu sauce before I ate up all my lunch with gusto. At home I helped out in the kitchen to prepare for dinner.
