Just when it was time to leave for school I declared that there was no school today. Daddy reminded me that it was a school day and there was indeed school today. I told him no tomorrow. He talked to me and explained that he understood my feelings and he himself also wished it wasn’t a work day. But he couldn’t change that. I was fighting back tears but accepted the fact. I was clingy and delayed a bit more but it was time to leave and Mommy had to go first to catch her train. I was teary eyed and protested but I gave her a hug and waved goodbye. Daddy and I left a couple minutes later and I was fine by then. Don’t get me wrong, I like school a lot. It’s just that I like staying home with Mommy and Daddy even more.
