On our walk today we saw a lot of things. First we saw a police car and that got our attention. We also saw some ducks and a lot of pill bugs. We also were interested in the dessert menu at a cafe that we passed by.

On our walk to the park we found some cast off skin of cicada. It was fascinating to us. We spent some time just admiring the skin. Then we ran around a lot. School is always fun, but it is nice to be home with my original playmate.

Today was going to be a busy day, so I made sure to have a good breakfast. On top of having my regular breakfast I had a whole banana for the extra energy. At school we took a nice walk and when we got back we had our gymnastics class. I participated again today and

Tonight for book time I took a bit of a detour and we read a sticker book. Even though there wasn’t really a story in the book we made a conversation out of it.

Today we had gymnastics practice and I voluntarily participated. I’ve been enjoying it lately and participate instead of observing. I jumped on the mat and did the bar as well. It was fun! After that we played with clay and slime. It was a nice day of indoor fun.

Just playing with my parking garage. This was one of my first gifts, but it is still a go-to toy for me. With all the different HotWheels and Tomica that I have, there is always something to do with the parking garage. I’m leveling up my chopsticks skills. We’ve removed one of the finger rings.

Ojisan came to visit me today all the way from Tokyo. He had a morning flight and we met him at the airport and then we all went out to lunch. I’ve always played it stand-offish with Ojisan, often rejecting his gifts and pretending not notice him. But I’ve been warming up to him. It

Even though my fever is gone and I’m feeling much better, I’m still not 100%. I’m still a bit run down and am more likely to be moved to tears. At school today there were times when things did not go the way I expected or wanted them to go so I ended up upset

Now that we are in the summer months, the days are getting longer. After we ate dinner tonight I noticed that it was still light outside. So I went for a nice evening drive.

When I went to bed last night, I still had a slight fever that would have kept me home from school. But this morning when I woke up, my fever had broken and I was feeling fine. I got to school after a very long absence. My teachers and friends were happy to see me
