We visited the shrine for the first time this year and prayed, picked up our lucky charms, and got our omikuji fortunes. Mine was daikichi, very lucky! It looks like this will be a good year for me!
On the way home we spotted some food stands and I got some candied grapes. It was more candy than grapes. I barely reached the grapes and just licked it like a lollipop.
