I don’t like to sleep in my crib or on my mat. My favorite place to sleep is on Mommy or Daddy. I manage to sleep in my crib at night, but during the day I usually cry the instant I’m put down, unless I am lulled into a very deep sleep, which takes some time and puts a lot of strain on the person carrying me. One of the easiest times for me, and many babies, to fall asleep is right after feeding. I’m full and content, and very often ease right into dreamland. But then Mommy is stuck with me on her lap. Today, instead of moving me to my mat and risk waking me up, she moved me while still on my nursing pillow to my mat. I worked! No cries. And I slept well for long enough for Mommy and Daddy to sit down and eat lunch together. They usually have to eat quickly and vacuum down their food, in shifts, or while carrying me. Today they could enjoy a quiet, normal paced meal.

You’re welcome!

But after that I was back to my normal antics and fell asleep on Daddy. I started off in my frog pose, chest to chest, but then rolled off onto his arm in my laid back lounging position.
