Several times a day I check in on Daddy as he works from home. I just want to cheer him up with my smiling face! And I want to make sure he’s not slacking off too. Once I make him smile I explore the room and see if anything is new.
When Daddy’s at his desk, I can’t reach up and give him a hug, so I show my affection to his foot. I grab it and caress it, just to let him know I’m cheering him on. Once I even started licking his ankle bone. That got a reaction out of him. I think it was kind of ticklish.
Often Mommy comes and gets me so that Daddy can work undistracted. But sometimes Daddy will pick me up, give me a hug, show me what kind of work he’s doing, and then deliver me back to the living room.
