After a day and a half off from school because of my fever we were a little worried about how I would react to going to school again. You hear that some babies do fine until the first disruption to their routine and then they kind of have to start getting used to school all over again. I surprised everyone and was fine. When Daddy dropped me off I gave a half-hearted “Aaayyy”. Not quite a cry and not quite a “yay” either. Then I was brought into the play room and was greeted with a lot of happy voice and faces. That made me feel good.
It was another good day at school. I ate well, played well, and slept well. We had a bit of a class field trip today and went for an outing to the park to welcome all of us new students. It was a lot of fun. Some kids cried, but I didn’t. It may not look it in the picture, but I enjoyed myself!

I’m on the far right being carried. I’m impressed that the teachers can handle my weight. I wonder if they just treat me as if I’m a 1 or 2 year-old student.

After a full day at school, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Mommy came to pick me up from school. I was happy to see her! I was also very proud of myself for not just surviving, but also enjoying my first full day of school! We are all very happy and relieved that things went so well!

When we got home, Daddy greeted us at the door. I think this is why everything is going well at school. Now I understand that school is just for a while and that Mommy and Daddy will always be back to pick me up, take me home, and we can all be together again. Knowing that makes everything a lot easier!
