My friend came over to play with me. It has been a few months since I had last seen her, but we picked up where we left off and had fun playing together. We always get along really well. Then we went into our tiny little wading pool. Mommy had told her mommy about the pool and invited them over for a pool date. She had a ton of fun! She loved playing in the water just as much as I did. For the most part we kept to our own sides of the pool, but we interacted a little bit we played with different toys that drifted between us.
When Daddy brought out the hose we were tickled by the mist and enjoyed the coolness in the summer heat.
We were in the pool a very long time and our fingers and toes were turning into prunes, (or umeboshi here in Japan). So he headed inside. We had a great time and are sure to do it again. After all, the summer is only going to get hotter.
