My first haircut was given to me by Daddy, an unlicensed and untrained hairdresser. The result was not bad, but it was not the best experience for me. I couldn’t sit still and I didn’t like the hair sticking to me. I liked having my hair shorter and neatly trimmed, but I was not looking forward to another haircut.
My second haircut was given to me by Daddy, a slightly more experienced hairdresser with only one customer, but pretty good feedback from everyone. We cut my hair outside during dinner. I sat still, but must have accidentally eaten some hair that got in my food. The clean up was much easier, but I still did not like the prickly feeling of hair on me. The haircut when smoother, but it was still not a pleasant memory for me.
I had my third haircut today, again by Daddy who is feeling more confident in his barbering ability. Today he took a stab with the hair clippers. We were a bit hesitant with the length at first, not going for the clippers right up against my scalp. But we later found out that the 12mm setting on the hair clippers was just about right for my sides and back of my head. It also was pretty fast and smooth, without any worries of nipping or stabbing me. One of the things that made this haircut much easier was that we did it in my little wading pool. I sat still, hair was immediately rinsed off of me, and I didn’t ingest any of it. It was also a overall positive experience for me and I actually had fun! After all, I was in the pool!

The end result looks pretty good! I already feel much cooler. Hopefully it means I have a less sweaty head in this summer heat and humidity.

I didn’t know that I had that much hair to be cut, but look at the hair that was in the pool. That’s quite a bit of hair.
