We had a lot of fun at the park today. We collected leaves. We pretended to be trains. We ran around a lot. And even rolled around on the ground. That’s what you should be doing at the park. We had a great time!
Today at school my teacher was reading a book to some of my classmates and they were pretending to eat the food in the book. Pretending to eat food from books is my thing and I got mad. I told them in Japanese, “No! That’s mine! Don’t eat!” My teacher understood my feelings and figured I might just be feeling left out. So she said, “Shoma, you can eat too,” as she handed me the book. I was so happy and it showed on my face. I started to pretend to eat the food in the book and share with everyone. In the past I might of hit or bitten, but I’m getting better at using my words which makes it so much better for everyone.
