After lunch we cleaned up the Christmas decorations. I played on Nana’s iPad for a bit while everyone was working. My job was to stay out of everyone’s way.
In the afternoon we went to get me new sandals. My sandals were too small and I have been complaining about them being “too tight”. I was not in a good mood, but I went along remembering that Daddy said we could buy a new Hot Wheels bus while at the store.
I was not a in a great mood but I tried on some sandals and picked out the same sandals as the ones I have now, just bigger. (Similar to how I chose the same winter jacket just bigger when I needed a new one.) As soon as we were done choosing sandals Daddy asked me what we were going to do next and I quickly answered “bus”, meaning it was time to look for my new Hot Wheels bus.
We had other things we needed to buy, but instead of making more stops, Papa suggested we head straight home so that I wouldn’t fall asleep in the car. Then guess what. I fell asleep in the car just a few minutes out. 
When we got home I woke up and wanted to play with my new bus so I woke up and was a happy energetic little boy again.
