Glamping 2025

We have a fun weekend planned. We are going glamping! I got to fuel up so I asked Daddy to make me a parfait for breakfast! Yum!

I was very excited and got ready really quickly. Then we were off. It was a bit of a drive but I had no problem with it. I like long drives because I get to see so many cars and so many car related things.

We stopped by a shopping center before we reached the glamping site so that we could grab some lunch.

I made sure I brought Achichu-chan, my favorite stuffed buddy at the moment.

After a quick lunch we were headed back to the car when…

we ran into some penguins in the shopping center. They were just carting them around, probably to promote some nearby aquarium. We took a minute to look at them, but then we are off. We had some glamping to do!

When we got to the glamping site we were very thrilled and pleased with the cabin. It was a cute little cabin and it had some really cool things. The bed and living area was nice, but the two coolest things were the jacuzzi and the hammock! Talk about glamorous camping!

After getting our things settled we went to explore the area. It wasn’t very big, but it was nice and quaint. We then headed to the welcome area where they had refreshments waiting for us. Soft drinks for me and beer for Mommy and Daddy. They also had cotton candy as a special welcome treat!

We relaxed a bit and enjoyed our refreshments, but I couldn’t wait to get to the nearby playground. Yeah, even though it was glamping, it wasn’t necessarily out in the wilderness. It was actually just off the highway and next to a very nice public playground. That was actually one of the appealing points of this facility. The park was a lot of fun!

There were a lot of jungle gyms and such to explore.

A lot of interactive things as well. It even had a cool rope thing!

I found the water fountain to be an unexpected source of entertainment.

We played at the playground for a while but I started to get tired because of the heat. It was a very hot day for June, 31°C (87.8°F). So we headed back to the glamping area and decided to chill.

Then it was dinner time! The glamping facility provided a lot of food for us to cook on the grill, but I found the rice that we brought was the tastiest thing in the world! Isn’t that funny that I can eat rice everyday and from a modern hightech rice cooker, but I really enjoyed the rice in a pot on a grill that Daddy made. The rest of the food was really good too! We had a bunch of appetizers, grilled meats and vegetables. But the camping rice stole the show!

There was a campfire set up for all the glampers where they had s’mores and sparklers. It was pretty fun! I’m not a big chocolate fan, but I did enjoy a couple of big marshmallows!

It was getting late but the fun was not over yet. Daddy taught me how to make homemade ice cream. It didn’t turn out so great and was still soft even after a lot of shaking. So Daddy tossed it into the freezer, yes, our cabin had a fridge and freezer, and he said I could eat it the next day.

Then it was time for my bath! It was my first time in a jacuzzi and it was so so so cool! The warm water jets were fun enough but then Daddy dumped all my soap and shampoo into the jacuzzi to make a bubble bath! I had so much fun playing in the bubbles that I didn’t want to get out. I eventually did and after rinsing off and getting ready for bed, I was fast asleep once my head hit the pillow.

We still have another day of glamping fun tomorrow and I can’t wait!
