In need of suspenders

My pants kept falling down today. Maybe it was because it was heavy with pee or maybe because I was scratching a lot and it pushed my pants down. Or maybe I have to face the fact that my belly is so big that my waist band slips under it instead of staying over it. […]

Buckles

Loving the buckles. Making sure not to pinch my fingers.

Vehicle sounds and movements

Even though I’m learning sign language, sometimes we like to use movements that are not official signs. Like when race car speeds by or a Shinkansen zooms past you car after car. And all these movements are tied into the sounds of these vehicles.

I see you

Just playing around with a translucent utensils case. I see you!

Carrot sticks

I saw that Mommy and Daddy were eating vegetable sticks with dinner. I wanted to try them. I liked how crunchy they were, but I must admit that they were not very easy to eat. I think for raw vegetables I’ll stick with tomatoes.

Visiting Baaba for her birthday

We went to visit Jiiji and Baaba today. Yesterday was Baaba’s birthday so we wanted to celebrate with her in person. When we got to their house I didn’t cry like I used to, but I was very shy. I buried my face into Daddy’s shoulder. He took me outside for a bit and I

Missing Mommy

Mommy left to meet a former coworker and I was not happy about it. I’ve grown very comfortable with my bedtime routine and don’t like any disruptions to it. But in the end I was fine and had a great time with Daddy. I just had to show Mommy that I would miss her a

Using chopsticks a bit

I wanted to use my chopsticks today and went to grab them from the drawer. I mainly just held on to them and didn’t use them too much. But I like the feeling of looking like a big boy.

Goshi goshi goshi

Watching TV with Mommy we were having a good laugh when Mommy was making noises matching the TV show. The kids’ show was showing how kids wash their hands and Mommy was making that noise which I thought was funny for some reason.

Shoes

I can’t quite put my shoes on all by myself, but I can get them from the shoe box, sit down with them, and get ready to have them put on my feet. Then I walk home with Mommy. I rather not be carried these days and prefer to walk home on my own two

Coloring at school

We did some coloring at school today. I’m not really big on coloring. I like it from time to time, but I don’t really stick to it. I have a very light touch and just dot my pictures with color. I’m just passing the time until it is time to play with toy cars.

Morning banana

I already ate my banana yogurt and bread. This is my second banana. Yum.

Buckles

I’m really into buckles right now. I like buckling up my high chair and my baby carrier even when I’m not in them. I just like buckling things. I even made sure that Daddy’s bag was all buckled up before he left for work. Nice and secure.

Helping find the turtle

Poor Daddy. After a long day of work he comes home and always has time to play with me, but I think he is really tired. Everyday we go to the bathroom for my bath and he forgets where the turtle mat for the tub is. I mean, everyday! Poor Daddy. Luckily, I always help

Dinner and then work

After a delicious dinner (with seconds) I don’t have time to relax. I have work to do. The deadline for our project is approaching and we still have some wrinkles to iron out. Busy, busy, busy.

I may look cute and innocent, and make it seem that I’m interested in buses and stuff. But I’m actually the mastermind behind planning our great escape. One day we will gain our freedom beyond the fence. But then we’ll probably come right back because we all love our nursery school and know that after

Morning Legos

Some mornings I’m very sluggish and don’t really want to do much. Other mornings, like today, I am in play mode from the moment I wake up and am very active. This morning my toy of choice was Legos. I see you!
