Sleeping alone

Where’s Mommy and Daddy? Aren’t they coming to bed yet? I guess not. Oh well, I may as well go to sleep.

My new chair

I found a new chair today. It was actually just a box but it was just the right size for me. It had a back rest (my diaper pail) and a desk (also my diaper pail). It was very comfortable. The only problem was that there was an odd smell around it (that would be

Trains with Daddy

Daddy and I played with my train set today. Daddy helped put it together and then we just watched the trains go round and round. It may not have been the most exciting activity but I enjoyed it a lot! I just like watching vehicles go!

Dinner with a friend

Mommy and Daddy’s friend came over for a visit and I surprised everyone by not crying. I didn’t exactly welcome her with open arms and ask how she was doing, but I didn’t cry. I was fine with her being around since all she did was watch me. She didn’t crowd me or anything. Well

Bath escape

When asked who I wanted to give me my bath tonight, I said Mommy. This surprised her since I usually push her out of the bath and have Daddy bathe me. But tonight I wanted to spend time with Mommy. I showed that by running away from the bath and her. It was all in

Playing with Daddy

I’m always looking forward to Daddy coming home. When he does we have a great time playing, hanging out, and relaxing. Today played with stickers, did some reading, and Daddy made me fly high in the sky!

Spoon and fingers

Yep, that confirms it. I can get much more food in my tummy faster by eating with a spoon and my fingers at the same time. So much more efficient.

Balloons at school

We played with balloons at school today! It was so much fun! Now I remember how much fun school is. I didn’t cry or fuss this morning when being dropped off at school. I miss spending time with Mommy and Daddy, but nursery school is so much fun and we always have so many things

Raisin bread

Did you know that you can get bread that has stuff in it? I’ve been eating raisin bread recently and I love it! Mainly the raisin part. Um, I don’t know why I put some bread crumbs in my milk. But rest assured that nothing went to waste.

Playing cars with Daddy

When Daddy comes home from work we get right to playing. Today we played with cars. I was sending them down the ramp and Daddy was catching them and handing them to me for another run. We make a good team!

Just doing some cleaning

I had some time so I figured I should do some cleaning around the house. As you can see not only did I not put a wipe on the swiffer but I also did not push it across the floor properly. So I don’t think anything got very clean. Well, it’s the thought that counts.

Dancing and cars

I had a lot of fun at school today. I didn’t cry when dropped off, although I looked like I was about to. At school we were singing songs with dancing. You can see me doing the dancing part in my chair. I also had a lot of fun playing with toy cars at school.

Good with a spoon

I am so good with a spoon now that I can eat pretty cleanly all by myself. I think I got a lot better at eating with a spoon in Hawaii. Look how steady that spoon is and how all the food makes it into my mouth. Pretty good!

Bath for boys only

Today I wouldn’t let Mommy into the bath. I started doing this a few days ago. I would usher Daddy in and then with a firm, but gentle hand stop Mommy from entering the bathroom. I stopped her at the door and pushed her back. But that wasn’t good enough. I wanted her to go

Got me some train tracks

I love my little wooden trains, but I knew they were missing something: train tracks. Now my trains have someplace to run. They are still fun without tracks, but it is nice to have some structure sometime.

Prison break

The outside world looks so much brighter. My gang was happy to see me back from Hawaii. They thought I had gotten out, but I was back in. I immediately staged an escape when I saw the buses and cars go by. I did my best to pick the lock but I didn’t get it
