Vehicle book

I still love cars, trucks, buses, trains, and all the like. It is just my thing! Whenever I see a bus I wave goodbye to it. When I hear it pass I wave goodbye. And apparently when I make the sound of a horn in my vehicle book and pretend that it is a bus, […]

Holo holo to the park with Mommy

When I’m at school, I don’t get a snack until 3 in the afternoon, but my weekend schedule is slightly different and I’m allowed a light morning snack. I had my snack before I started my fun at the park. While snacking I did some airplane spotting with Mommy. We live near a pretty busy

Being obviously not happy

I’m not very subtle when I’m not happy. I make sure everyone knows from my expression, body movement, and speech, that I’m not happy.

Seeing, looking, watching

“I see you, Daddy!” “Look at me, Daddy!” “Let’s watch TV, Daddy!”

Eating the proper way

There is a proper way to do everything, including eating. I’m trying to use a fork and spoon more and more when I eat. I must say I’m getting better at it. But there is also a proper place for tableware. Daddy tried to turn my plate around but I had to show him the

On my feet at the park

I’m loving being on my feet at the park! There is so much to do, explore, and try! Now that I can walk, it is my turn to take other things around for a walk, like my stroller. Even though I can walk nearly everywhere and can even manage the rough uneven terrain of the

Still swinging

Before when I was little, there wasn’t much that I could do at the park. All I could do was sit in the swing and be pushed back and forth. I loved it, but now there are so many other things for me to do. So I often want to get out of the swing

TV chair

Every so often I use my chair to watch TV, but that doesn’t mean I stay still or stop paying attention to other things. Even when watching my kids’ shows, I still hear buses passing by and I just have to wave goodbye.

Toddling octopus

Even when at home and only traveling short distances I still prefer to walk than to crawl. It is how my main means of getting around nowadays. But the funny thing is that I have sticky and oddly shaped feet so when I walk it kind of makes suction cup sounds, like I’m an octopus

Acorns

On our walk today one of our teachers found some acorns and showed them to all of us. She did not get the reaction she wanted. Most of us were not very impressed. We were more interested in the cats and birds that we saw in the park. She tried to see if we were

Low-power play mode

More often than not when I play with my trucks I’m lying on my tummy. That’s just how I roll!

Brushing teeth

I’ve been very good at brushing my teeth. I hear that some kids don’t like it, but I think it is great and tasty! I like the toothpaste (gel in my case) taste! Yum!

Uninterested in class

We all had a class to learn a new song today. I picked it up right away and was a bit uninterested for the rest of the class. I may have to work on my classroom behavior. I don’t really enjoy sitting still and paying attention. I much rather be moving and playing. Yay! Tunnel

Air kisses or lip smacking

I like copying Mommy and Daddy in everything they do. Daddy was making air kisses and I started copying him. But when I tried to copy him it only occasionally came out as air kisses and often came out as lip smacking. I’m still working out the fine motor skills of my mouth. I’ll get

Kanpai at school

I’m still eating really well at school! I often have seconds at lunch. Not only do I enjoy the food, but I also enjoy the company. I like to do kanpai with my classmates and teachers. We’re just drinking tea, but I could go for something a little stronger.

Milk and book before bedtime

I really like my bedtime routine. I rarely every resist it anymore. I happily follow Daddy when it is bath time, which I enjoy. Then after my bath I get some milk and a book. I really enjoy this part. Then after I finish my milk and book I brush my teeth and go to

Dancing to any song I hear

I love to dance! I’ll dance to almost anything! I’ll dance to pop music, Daddy say, “boom, boom, boom, boom,” and even the intro songs to my kids’ shows. I just love to dance!
