Standing on my chair
I’m still not quite confident standing. I’m actually very hesitant about it…on the floor that is. For some reason I decided to stand up on my chair. (What does “Oh Captain, my captain” mean? Daddy mentioned that in passing). Anyway, not yet a master at standing but I decide to elevate myself and do it,
My TV chair
At first, I really didn’t use my little chair very often. I was too busy moving around to just sit down in it. But these days I actually set it up in front of the TV and plop myself in it. It is now my TV chair.
Gyoza
Food wrapped in edible wrappers! Amazing! And tasty! What will they think of next? Gyoza is definitely on my like list. I ate four of them in one sitting! Not bad for a baby.
Water play day
We had water play day at nursery school today. You would think I would have a great time, but I did not. I cried the moment we started. I guess I’m too used to playing in my wading pool that this was not what I expected. I think I would feel much more comfortable in
Doggy dancing in my shoes
Daddy put my new shoes on my doggy and I thought it was really funny. I doggy wearing shoes. That’s hilarious! What’s even funnier? A doggy dancing in shoes!
Standing a bit
Every so often we’ll catch brief moments of me standing. I’m still hesitant to do it, but sometimes I accidentally stand and then I don’t know what to do.
On a high note
I was enjoying my dinner and in such a good mood that I was just cracking up about everything. At one point I randomly made high note sound with my voice and thought it was so funny! So did Mommy and Daddy! We ended up laughing a lot when I repeated that high note! I’m
Utensils
Since I have mastered eating with my fingers, we are trying to get me to use utensils more. I can eat with a spoon quite well if Mommy or Daddy load it with food for me. I’m pretty good at getting it into my mouth. We picked up a set of metal utensils for me
Drinking buggy
When we go for our walks, our teachers make sure that we are well hydrated and we all have our own mugs of drinks. It is a nice way to be sociable, taking a tour while partaking in drinks. It is like the baby version of the Pedal Pub.
Legos in the end
Some mornings I don’t know what to play with. There is so much to choose from and so much to do. May as well keep it simple. Legos are a safe bet.
Make up bag
I find Mommy’s make up bag fascinating! There are so many little tiny things for me to grab. I also find the who process of make up interesting too. I wonder when I’ll get to put some on. According to Mommy and Daddy, my skin is so soft and white, my cheeks so rosy, my
Slipping mat
When I lean back against the couch, the mat slips forward and bunches up. There is nothing wrong with that. At least until I try to push the table around. Then I have a proper fit when it gets stuck. I’m a strange being sometimes.
Looking at ducks
During our walk today we stopped by the pond at the park and took a look at the ducks. I like ducks. They are cool to look at. But I was a bit distracted by my itchy gums. I must be teething again.
The race: On your marks, get set, ready, go!
The other day Mommy and Daddy were trying to get me to go to the bathroom to take my bath, but I actively ignored them. I do that a lot. I devote all my energy and focus into not hearing them and doing what I want to do. The reason I try to ignore them
