I think I’m growing. When I lie down I feel really long. When I’m in my crib I feel like I can stretch and reach the edges. When I stand I feel like I can reach things that used to be beyond my grasp. Maybe I had a growth spurt.

I have to get my temperature taken every day and it is quite a task. Before I go to nursery school we have to make sure that I don’t have a fever. So Daddy is tasked with putting the thermometer in my armpit and hoping it reads my temperature before I try to take it

I keep discovering new drawers for me to explore. I sometimes wonder how I missed them before. Sometimes I actually have already discovered them already but still find them to be new and fascinating as I rediscover them.

Daddy used his dinner break to pick me up and bring me home because of my fever. But it did not look like I had a fever at all. Daddy wondered if he had been duped. He wondered if I was able to fake a fever just to be picked up early. We’ll never know.

We had fun playing in the tunnels today! I’m no longer afraid or hesitant to crawl through. I chatted up a girl at the local mat bar. I hung up my tanabata wish. Then I got a fever again. It was late afternoon but it would have been too long for me to wait for

Hurricane Mason strikes again!

Sometimes I just want to relax on the couch and watch my morning kids’ shows, but Daddy can help but come and play with me. To be honest, I don’t really mind. Actually, that’s what I aim to do. I just lured him into my trap of playing.

I like my Lego car and my larger plastic trucks, but I still enjoy playing with my tiny wooden vehicles.

I still have a little energy left after a long day of school, a fever, and a nice relaxing bath. But, then I realize I really am sleepy.

At the end of a long day, I sometimes just can’t wait for a bath. Especially when it is summer and I am all sweaty and sticky. It feels good to wash all that grime off. I should note that I’m not really taking baths anymore. I’m taking showers. Instead of filling the tub part
