Jurassic Costco

It may look like I’m being attacked by a dinosaur, but it is actually just his way of giving a kiss. Kind of like a dog giving a friendly lick.

Not ready for my first step yet

Mommy and Daddy occasionally try to trick me into taking my first step. They put the table just out of arms reach or sit a little further back, hoping I’ll take a step. But I’m on to them. I’m fine not walking just yet. I’ll get there in my own time. Even though I’m sure

Mezzanine seating

Recently I like climbing up on the coffee table. It gives me a better view of the TV. I prefer a straight-on viewing angle to looking up at the TV from the floor.

Squeaky mug cover

I discovered that when I slide my mug cover on the table, it makes a squeaky noise. I like it and think it is a really fun sound! But I have a feeling that there may be people who don’t like it. It might sound like fingernails on a chalkboard for some, so proceed to

Still going

Even after a long day, I still have energy to keep playing while waiting for my bath to be ready. My outdoor meal gave me a lot of energy and I’m not quite ready to call it a day. I watched a bit of Baby Shark, clapping along a little, and played peekaboo with my

Outdoor meal

Mommy had to work today even though it is a Saturday, so Daddy and I thought she must be in need of a pick-me-up. Daddy suggested that we meet up at a wine festival on way back from work. She loved the idea. So Daddy packed up a dinner for me and we hopped on

Blocking myself in with my chair

You know that I’m strong and that I’m able to push my chair around with relative ease. Well, now I can pull it around too. But I need to learn which side to pull it from because today I blocked myself in. I got frustrated and when I tried to correct the situation by pulling

Baby Shark

Recently I’ve been more musical and I like to clap and move along with music. We found that Baby Shark and the many related songs are great for clapping, moving, and apparently singing(?) as well!

Snack time: pancakes

I had a pancake for snack today. Even though Mommy had to go to work today, she made sure I had a nice snack prepared. Yum! But it wasn’t quite enough so I also had a baby veggie biscuit. A bit harder than I’m used to, but tasty and heartier too!

Many seats

High chair for meals Car seat for travel (and naps) TV chair for entertainment

Tired tantrum

I’m so tired that I am just not myself. I had a tired tantrum tonight. I was not happy and I didn’t know what I wanted. I don’t like to feel like this, but it happens, especially when I’m not perfectly healthy. It’s been a rough week: fever, roseola, fussiness, and tantrums. Let’s home that

Taking it easy at the park

I took it easy at the park today. I just enjoyed the fresh air and watched the bubbles float by.

Nap on the way to school

Our walk to school is only around 10 minutes, and yet I managed to fall asleep during that short time. I’m still under the weather. Even though the nap was short, it was comfortable and potent because I was in a pretty good mood when I got to school.

TV time

I’ve been becoming more interested in my kids’ shows on TV. I really like the music and colorful characters. I even have my favorite characters that I always point out when they come on to screen.

Crossed ankles

I’m still doing it. When I sit I often cross my legs, ankles, or feet. It is a weird habit, but it seems like it runs in the family. Daddy and Grandpa do it too!

Cups at nursery school

One of the toys I like to play with at nursery school are these plastic cups. I always liked cups. I still have my paper Starbucks cups at home that I play with. But I appreciate these colorful plastic cups that we have at nursery school. They are much more fun to play with. Recently

Swollen eyes because of roseola

Oh, where did my double eyelids go? I don’t like my swollen eyes. How much longer until I get over roseola? I’m still fussier than usual and feeling run down. But that’s no reason to not read my books. What shall I read today?
