Reading a book aloud

One of my favorite books right now is Animals Sing Aloha to You. I like the repetitive sounding out of the letters. I surprised Daddy by pulling out the book, opening it, and then reading it, saying, “a…a…a..” which is the first line of the book. I don’t do that with any other book, just

Tummy full of breakfast

I always easily eat up all of my breakfast, but sometimes I need a little break after my breakfast to start the digestive process.

Being picked up by Mommy

When Mommy picks me up from nursery school, she usually takes me down to the lobby of the building before she straps on the baby carrier and puts me in it. There is more room to do it in the lobby and there is a nice bench where I can comfortably wait. There is a

Visiting the Prefectural Government Office

Right across from one of the parks we often go to is the Prefectural Government Office. I know it doesn’t sound like much fun for little babies, but they have to some pretty flowers on display there, so we sometimes stop by on our walks to the park.

Chair walker

My chair is not for sitting, it is for walking. Well, sliding and shuffling.

Good angle

How I sit and the angle of my body changes how I look. The first two photos show me with very soft features. But I feel the last makes me look like a big rock of a boy.

New plate?

I do this from time to time. I place my food on my mug. It doesn’t get in my tea because it has a no spill cover. But Daddy thinks it is weird to move all my food to my cup when I have a perfectly good bowl right in front of me. I have

Happy at the park

It is so nice that we get to go to the park every day that the weather is nice! We all love the fresh air. My class can’t run around yet, but soon you won’t be able to stop us. There is a lot of interesting things at school. Today, the older class had exercise

Playing with my toy car

Vroom, vroom on the floor. Vroom, vroom on the table. Vroom, vroom in the kitchen. Vroom, vr–CRASH!!! into Daddy’s foot.

Me and the boys

There are a lot of boys in my class and only one girl. Poor thing. It must be tough with all this testosterone around her. Some times the testosterone can be a bit much for me too. By the way, I’m enjoy playing with balls a lot more. I’m getting better and rolling them and

Wagon

Instead of playing with my Lego car, I played with my PandaCrate wagon. When I first got it I was taught to play with it by pulling on the string. But I figured out that I can play with it the same way I play with my car. Vroom, vroom!

Squinting

I’m really good at feeding myself bread. I don’t even need Daddy to tear it into small pieces anymore. I either tear off small pieces by myself or just take a bite of the roll. But when feeding myself I sometimes make a squinting face. Mommy and Daddy don’t know if I’m happy, sad, or

Kid’s Meal

As you know, I am a big eater. I don’t always eat this much, but there are days when I am really hungry and days when I’m just kind of hungry. Today was a really hungry day. I’m really good at eating with my fingers and I figure I should try the next step and

Flower at the park

I had a fun walk at school. I was looking at everything around me and was very excited to see everything. I was especially happy to find this flower! (It might actually be a weed.). Look how pretty!

Catching my morning shows

I don’t watch much TV, but every so often there is a catchy tune or colorful character on my kids’ shows and I take some time to watch properly.

Daddy kiss

A “Daddy kiss” is when I give Daddy a soft bite on the nose. I don’t know why this became a Daddy kiss or even when it started. But if Daddy leans in and asks for a “Daddy kiss” I oblige him and give him a soft bite on the nose.
