Me and the boys

It goes without saying that I went to school without problem and without tears. Even after three days off in the middle of the week I was happy to arrive at school and went to my teacher without complaint. At school I had a lot of fun playing and going for a walk. On our […]

More Boys’ Day Celebration

I made a Boys’ Day Koi Nobori card at nursery school! Pretty cute, yeah? The koi are made out of my footprints. I think I might have had the biggest koi for my age level. Very hearty fish. Oh, and of course I did not eat the mochi. Mommy took care of that for me.

Toy box

My toy box is always a lot of fun. I can rediscover toys that I hadn’t seen in a while and they become new toys all over again! And my toy box is quite big so it can hold a lot of things. The problem is that it is quite big and it can get

Jungle gym

I ventured over to the jungle gym today. I’ve been down the slide several times, but I hadn’t explored this side before. There are these large flower discs on rails. It is kind of like my beads on rails toy at home, but bigger! More fun to be had! Oh, and there was dirt/sand and

I still love the swings at the park! I don’t think I’ll ever get tired of them. It is so much fun and I’m always all smiles!

Standing practice is fun

Still not standing. I practice from time to time, but it is more fun than serious effort.

Going to the park with Mommy

As you can see, I had a great time at the park with Mommy! It was a really nice day and we were able to relax and explore in comfort. I stress the word comfort because on the way back I wanted to be even more comfortable. So I took off my sock, tossed my

Little boss

Even though I’m the youngest, smallest, and most inexperienced person in the household, it feels like I’m the boss around here. Everyone takes care of all of my needs and they seem to be at my beck and call. When I want to play, we play!

Legs crossed

For some reason I cross my legs a lot. When I sit in my chair or stand, my legs often find themselves crossed. I don’t really know why, but it is just how it is.

Waaaah!

Yep, I’m not happy. I thought that Daddy was leaving without me, but he just went to water the plants. So, actually, that justifies my reason for crying. We usually water the plants together. Waaaah!

Checking for a heartbeat

Don’t worry, it is not a medical emergency or anything. I just like listening to Daddy’s heartbeat. It is very calming and comfortable.

Happy time with Mommy

Today was a national holiday, but Daddy had to work (that’s just the kind of job he has). So I got to spend the whole afternoon with Mommy! We had so much fun! It has been a while since we’ve spent the afternoon together just the two of us! Except for last Friday and one

Drawn to TV

More and more I am understanding the draw of TV. Mommy and Daddy put on my kids shows from time to time, but they keep my TV time very short and I usually lose interest quickly. But every so often I find TV interesting, and it is usually not kids’ programs.

Crumbs

By watching me eat the crumbs found in my chair and on the floor you would think that I’m being starved. On the contrary, I am eating three square meals a day and am fed quite well! I just don’t want to waste even a single crumb.
