Baby carrier safety inspection

Today I conducted my safety inspection of my baby carrier. I’m just making sure that it is still intact and there are no weak points. After all, it’s carrying a 10kg plus baby, so it has to be in sturdy condition.

Content in my chair

I just finished my snack, but seemed content in my chair, so Mommy let me stay there a while. I was just playing with my barn toy, opening the windows and doors to see the animals.

More places to explore

There are still places in the house that I am exploring. I start to notice things behind other things, things in the corner, and things above my sightline. I’ve conducted a pretty thorough survey of the house, but there are still new places and things to be found.

Quick crawl

Even though I figured out how to crawl on all fours, I still find it much faster to do my army crawl. I can really move when I decide to. The clip below is not even my fastest sprint. It is more like a nice jogging pace for me.

Got your glasses

As most babies are, I am curious about glasses. I’m always trying to snatch them off Daddy’s face when he gets close and isn’t ready to stop me from getting them. You snooze you lose, Daddy!

Barrier breaker

I kept touching Daddy’s PS4 and Switch, and trying to chew on the cables, so Mommy put up a barrier to stop me from getting to them. I broke the barrier within a couple of days and got to all the goodies. To keep me out of something, I think Mommy is going to have

More breakfast rolls

I’m getting better at eating my breakfast rolls. I take slightly smaller bites at a slightly slower pace. It is still a bit hard for me to tear off pieces, since I only have two teeth, but I manage.

Finding Daddy

Daddy is not a morning person. Sometimes when he “wakes up” in the morning he comes out to the living room only to cover himself with a blanket and doze off. Then it is my job to find him under the blanket and coax him out of the blanket and his sleepy dozing. Once he

More new foods (okara and pork)

Okara Okara is soy pulp that is dried and then rehydrated during cooking. It is quite healthy and can be mixed with a number of things to add texture, flavor, and fill you up with healthy soy. It is kind of like mashed potato mix, but with soy instead of potatoes. Mommy and Daddy really

Still sleep

Recently I’ve been going to bed without any crying for quite a while now. But recently I have been going to sleep without any sound or movement. I go through my usual routine of dinner, bath, nursing, and bedtime story. Then I’m put into my crib peacefully and quietly. No crying and no moving Instead

More new foods

Kiwi Sweet and a little tart. Nice! Tokoroten Not much flavor. Not much texture. Not much there. It’s alright.

Love yourself

I saw this really cute baby boy in the mirror and just had to give him a great big kiss! Yeah, I realize it was me in the mirror. But it is important to love yourself! So this is how I show myself the love I deserve. Wow, that’s a lot of love!

Rolling

I am a thrill seeker! I love to do things that are thrilling and exciting. I like being lifted high in the air, I like being bounced, and I like being rolled. The cool thing is that when Daddy rolls me, I roll right back to him. I’m not sure which part I enjoy more.

Chingensai (bok choy)

I had chingensai (bok choy) today. I quite liked it. It was a little crunchy, which is nice considering that so much of my food is really soft.

Waiting with Daddy

I just woke up from my morning nap and Mommy is getting my lunch ready, so I’m just here waiting patiently with Daddy. (Daddy also had a nap as a byproduct of my nap.)

In search of Mommy

I can do independent play very well. I’ll just sit with my toys and rotate from one to the other for quite a long time. I don’t need someone to entertain me all the time. But I am very interested in what is going on around me. So if Mommy leaves the room, I almost

Most important meal of the day

They say that breakfast is the most important meal of the day. While I do agree that you should start the day off with a good breakfast, I don’t like to play favorites with my meals. They are all important to me!
