I’m trying out some new hairstyles. What do you think about the pigtails? Pretty, yeah? I might stick to the topknot, but pigtails aren’t bad.

I think I mentioned before that I’m practicing feeding myself by learning to eat finger foods. Mommy made me some hamburger patties to practice with. They were a good way for me to practice biting off small pieces because they were soft. But they were soft so the were easily squished in my strong grip.

So I push or pull this door here. Then it moves this way or that way. Once I get it open I can crawl through. Too easy.

I think my toy box is magic. No matter how many toys I take out the day before, they are alway magically back in the box when I wake up the next morning. It is amazing. Especially because I don’t just take toys out, I dump them out. I figured out how to tip the

Mommy and Daddy aren’t able to go out to eat very often. But they figured it was time to celebrate both of their birthdays with a yakiniku dinner! (Both of their actual birthday dinners were at home.). They figured that I’m big enough and well behaved enough to go out to eat. They were right.

My daily adventures lead me into some awkward positions. For me to find new things to play with I often have to stretch or squat. I also squeeze and slither into areas where I was blocked off from. It feels like every day more things are coming to be within my reach.

I love to eat bananas! They are some of the sweetest things that I get to eat. But I get so excited that I tend to take hug bites of the banana. Mommy and Daddy are worried about me choking if I take too big a bite, so they try to pull the banana away

As usual, I cried for the first few minutes of my visit to Jiiji and Baaba’s house. It is nothing personal. It is just that I am wary of people who are not Mommy and Daddy, even if they are family. I’m sure it is just a stage.

It had been a very long time since I had fallen asleep in the car. Well, today on our way to Baaba and Jiiji’s house I peacefully fell asleep. I’m just saving my energy for a our visit.
