New Year’s Resolution

I have a lot of goals for 2022. Most are developmental goals like, standing up, walking, and running. But I have other goals that are related to growth. I want to read more. So my resolution for 2022 is to read a book everyday. And by “read” I mean “have read to me”. Since itContinue reading “New Year’s Resolution”

Happy New Year 2022!

Happy new year! I got all dressed up for 2022! Do you recognize this outfit? It is the same one I wore when I came home from the hospital almost 8 months ago. It still fits! Sort of. It is just a tiny bit shorter and tighter. As you can see, I’m very excited aboutContinue reading “Happy New Year 2022!”

New year’s countdown / down for the count

No, I didn’t even bother trying to stay up for the new year’s countdown. I just woke up for my midnight bottle like any other night and drifted right back to sleep when I was done. By the way, I’m finishing my bottle in less than 5 minutes these days. Some nights I’m back asleepContinue reading “New year’s countdown / down for the count”

Barrier

Mommy and Daddy set up my mobile to block me from getting to the vacuum cleaner and kitchen, but I don’t think it will hold me back much longer. I’m already trying to squeeze through, climb over, and move it out of the way.

Checking in on Daddy

Several times a day I check in on Daddy as he works from home. I just want to cheer him up with my smiling face! And I want to make sure he’s not slacking off too. Once I make him smile I explore the room and see if anything is new. When Daddy’s at hisContinue reading “Checking in on Daddy”

Getting caught on the table leg

I was playing under the table, touching the underside of it, and tried to roll over onto my tummy. But I didn’t see the table leg there and got caught for a little while.

Easy to feed

I guess by now you know that it is very easy to feed me. Not only am I good eater with a good appetite, I also make it easy for Mommy and Daddy by opening my mouth wide and leaning forward to give the spoon an easy target.

Pants head

This is what I get for rolling over and crawling away from Daddy when he is trying to put my pants on.

Lazy play

Sitting up is fine and all, but it can be a bit tiring. Sometimes I much rather take it easy when playing. Play should not be work. Hence, lazy play.

A cow says “moo”

I got my first PandaCrate today. There were a bunch of fun farm animal toys. One was a cow that actually mooed. I’ve never seen a real cow or heard one moo. This was the closest thing to the real thing for me. Daddy sings the Old MacDonald song to me and told me thatContinue reading “A cow says “moo””

Quick crawl

I’m pretty fast with my army crawl. When I decide I want to go there, I can shuffle there in an instant!

Banana snack

Since I was complaining so much, Mommy and Daddy though I might be hungry and gave me some banana as a snack thinking it would satisfy my hunger and calm me down. They were wrong.

Complaining

It is not easy being a baby. I started grumbling this morning and Mommy and Daddy didn’t know why. It was too early for my nap and a still a bit too early for my meal. Mommy and Daddy tried playing with me but I was in a mood and kept complaining. So they letContinue reading “Complaining”

Brushing my teeth like Mommy and Daddy

Mommy and Daddy have a weird habit of never brushing their teeth in the bathroom. They always come out to the living room and brush their teeth while watching TV, reading, checking their phones, or cleaning up the house. I guess it is not very interesting to stand in front of a mirror and watchContinue reading “Brushing my teeth like Mommy and Daddy”

Carrier strap is not tasty

In case you were wondering, the strap on my baby carrier does not taste good at all. I mean it is pretty terrible. But that didn’t stop me from chewing on it. But it is bad. I don’t recommend it.

Standing practice

The crawling on fours thing is taking longer to pick up than I thought it would. I’m just to efficient and fast with the army crawl. Maybe I’ll just skip crawling on all fours and focus on standing and walking. Yeah, I think I’ll do that.

A typical day for me

Relaxing, going to run errands, playing, moving, deciding what to do next, choosing a book, crawling practice, etc…
