Mommy had a bunch of stuffed animals before me and I kind of just automatically adopted them. There were a bunch of doggies that she and Daddy won at claw games, but there are a few that she bought for herself, like Stella Lou whom she got at Tokyo Disneyland.

I’m still enjoying my homemade oatmeal raisin cookies. I’m not allowed to eat to many at once, so I’m slowly eating away at my supply. I like them not only because they are yummy but also because I helped make them.

I tried out some new pajamas today and I really like them. They are quite tight, but that makes them feel nice like a firm embrace. Also they are cooler than my other pajamas so I have a feeling I’ll have a better sleep in these. Update: I slept the whole night without waking up.

Daddy and I went to the book store today while Mommy worked. We picked up a couple of very cool books after having a lot of fun perusing the selection at the book store. Next to the book store was a game center and we went to check it out. There were a lot ofContinue reading “Crane game”

Today Daddy and I decided to make cookies. It has been a while since we cooked or baked together. I did a very good job helping to measure the ingredients and mixing them. Whenever there is a new Starbucks drink, Daddy always treats Mommy to it, but when it doesn’t have nuts or chocolate, she shares it with me. And recently my shared sips have been getting bigger, longer, and more frequent. Yummy!

Daddy picked me up from school today. We had a nice conversation on our walk home as usual. We got home and ate dinner so quickly that I had time for an evening drive before I had to go take a bath. The summer days are getting longer and longer.

On the way. to the park today we saw an ambulance and we were all very excited. We love seeing vehicles of all kinds, especially emergency vehicles. At the park we ran around and played with balls, but we spent a lot of time gathering up leaves and looking for bugs.

All ready to head off to school with my bag and everything. But it is all for show. I did not carry my bag and actually was carried most of the way to school. But at least I got ready on time without any tantrums or issues.

My language skills are developing every day. I ask a lot of questions and use a lot of expressions that I heard. I often surprise Mommy and Daddy with word or phrases that they didn’t know I knew. I’m so silly sometimes. During dinner I had rice on my face and I just went with it and added more rice just to get some laughs.

Today we experimented with colors. We put coffee filters into cups of watered down paints and watched how the colors seeped into the paper.
