I wandered over to the door near the kitchen and sat down. Daddy came to join me. Then we just hung out. Wassup!

Making cookies with Mommy
Saturday morning
Saturday mornings are awesome. After a long week of school it is nice not to have to be anywhere or have any plans and just relax and have fun.
Leakage
Had a little bit of diaper leakage so I had to change pants early in the morning. But I was very particular about which pants I wanted to wear. Even though it is still pretty cold I chose short pants. I didn’t complain though.
Helping Mommy make salad
Vending machine Qoo
I got a treat on the way home from school today. Mommy let me choose a drink from the vending machine. I was so excited and happy! I chose apple juice Qoo. I can’t wait to drink it at dinner.
Hinamatsuri
Today at school we learned about Hinamatsuri (Girls’ Day). Our teachers used a picture book to explain about the day and celebration. It is still early since Hinamatsuri is on March 3 (a Sunday), but it is good to be prepared. I listened quite intently to all the details. We also went for a walkContinue reading “Hinamatsuri”
Driving Daddy
Rhythm and clay
We had our rhythmic movement class today. We worked up quite a sweat moving to the music. We also played with clay today. We made cookies with cookie cutters. I made a bunch and offered them to my teacher. “Here you go. Please eat it.”
Wild hair
It looks like my hair is getting a bit long. I may need a haircut soon. I’m not looking forward to that.
Bubbles and running
Today at the park we asked to play with bubbles and our request was answered. We had a lot of fun running around chasing the bubbles. We also played Red light, green light. We understood the rules, but we kind of made the game Green light, green light. We ran around so much that weContinue reading “Bubbles and running”
I love you
I am such a loving little boy. I tell Mommy and Daddy that I love them almost every day. Not just as a response from them telling me that they love me. Out of the blue I’ll tell them, “I love you!” I also check in to see how they are doing by asking, “AreContinue reading “I love you”
“I love you” every day
So loving. I tell mommy and daddy that I love them every day.Â
Breakfast
I used to eat breakfast in my high chair, but during these winter months it has been too cold to sit there. So I started bundling myself under a blanket on the couch while sitting on Daddy’s lap. It is very comfy and I don’t intend to return to the high chair for breakfast. TheContinue reading “Breakfast”
Friend in my book
In one of the books I borrow from school a lot there is a family going on a trip: a mother, little boy, and little girl. I have been calling the little girl “Kana-chan”, the name of my friend. So the story that I made is one where Mommy is taking Kana-chan and me onContinue reading “Friend in my book”
Daddy tricking me to eat
Tonight we had some mushrooms on the menu that I was not a big fan of. I have eaten them before but I was being a little picky. Daddy tried to trick me into eating it by showing me that he was going to eat it. It almost work but his “distraction” also distracted meContinue reading “Daddy tricking me to eat”
“Viva!”
There is a Japanese professional baseball player who plays for the Fukuoka Softbank Hawks who has a celebratory pose when he hits a homerun. He does a “V” gesture and says “Viva!” Obachan is a big Hawks fan and follows the games a lot. She showed me the pose and it kind of stuck. “Viva!”
Pizza
A Pizza Hut arrived in our area and we decided to give it a try. We had thought about it before but it was a bit pricier than we were used to. But today there was a really good deal so we took advantage of it. But we realized the deal was for take outContinue reading “Pizza”
Glimpses from a day
New car transporter
As I planned, I went and got a new toy with the Valentine’s day money that Nana and Papa sent me. I chose a car transporter. I also cleared out some of my old toys. They were mainly the cheap freebies that I got with kids’ meals at restaurants. I traded in quantity for quality.
