Happy birthday to Baaba
It was Baaba’s birthday so I decided to get her some pretty flowers! But when we were at the flower shop, I spotted some plastic lemons that I thought she would love, so I got that instead of flowers. Daddy convinced me to get some other plastic flowers as well, but I was insistent onContinue reading “Happy birthday to Baaba”
Describing my haircuts
When talking to Jiiji, Baaba, and Obachan today, my haircuts came up. I explained to them what those are like. I explained to them that I get to watch YouTube and eat some special dessert like jello or ice cream. I was very emphatic about not liking the hair clipper noise, but let them know that I didContinue reading “Describing my haircuts”
Reading (reciting from memory)
Recently, I have been reading some books on my own. These are books that have been read to me so many times that I just memorized the entire book. For those of you who do not speak Japanese, you are just going to have to trust me that I “read” each page correctly.
New song about singer/songwriter Mason
Did you know that I’m a singer/songwriter? You must know that I’m a singer by now since I have posted a lot of videos of me singing here. But I also write my own songs too. Today I created a new song called Mason. It is about, yes, you guessed it, me! I sang itContinue reading “New song about singer/songwriter Mason”
Cooking with House
I love cooking with my play cooking set, but sometimes I need a sous chef. Often that is Daddy, but today House helped me cook.
Picnic and sliding at the park
So much sliding! Even Mommy went sliding too and I cheered her on!
Silly boy: Doggy hat, tunnel eating and diaper head
Diaper head!
Aloha Friday
It’s a Aloha Friday, no school till Monday. I’m so happy that another week of school is done and tomorrow I get to enjoy two days off for the weekend. Two days to play, two days to play. Hey, hey, hey, hey. Two days to play!
Making sand “curry”
We went to the park today and we all played in the sand. We were making a lot of “curry”. I collected my ingredients and mixed them. I think my curry turned out really well!
English lesson and walk
We had a fun English lesson today! We studied colors and I could recite all of them without any problem! We also went for a nice walk in the park. There were many pretty plum blossoms to see. Sure, the ones on the trees were pretty, but I was more interested in the petals onContinue reading “English lesson and walk”
Singing happy birthday while practicing driving
One-ear bunny
After dinner I was hopping around like a bunny. But I went to get a jelly snack so I could only use one had, so I ended up being a one-eared bunny.
Prefectural office visit
It wasn’t raining today so we were able to go for our walk, but the ground was still very wet so we couldn’t go to the park. We went to the prefectural office instead. There were some pretty flowers on display that we enjoyed looking at. There was even a Hinamatsuri (Girls’ Day) display up,Continue reading “Prefectural office visit”
Boat going over the falls
When taking a bath, my Curious George boat kept falling off the edge of the tub because of the current from the shower. It was like it was going over a waterfall. It was so funny! I found the best place to put the boat to repeat the stunt.
Gestar
After our walk today, we came back to school and played with Gestars. They are these slotted discs that you can connect to make all kinds of creations. I really enjoy playing with them and get in the zone when making things.
Early morning drive
Just taking an early morning drive before I go to school.
Bedtime book in my blanket “bus”
I’ve been doing a lot of things in my “bus” recently. Since it is cold when I get out of the bath, Daddy sometimes throws the blanket over us when he dresses me in my pajamas. I tell him it is like being in a bus. So now I like to do a lot ofContinue reading “Bedtime book in my blanket “bus””
Growing taller
Look who is getting taller! I am almost 95 cm (37 in.) tall and I grew 11 cm (4.3 in.) in one year!
Stuffed animals
When Daddy comes home from work, often one of the first things I say is, “House talk to Daddy.” I like it when Daddy has conversations with House. It allows me to hear about Daddy’s day, and House’s, and then jump in and share things about my own day. But there are days when IContinue reading “Stuffed animals”
