Today was a rainy day so we had to stay inside. We were read some books and sang some songs. We had our rhythmic session where we marched around like trains on a track to music. We also played with clay. I had fun making all sorts of things, but I also enjoyed being niceContinue reading “Rainy day activities”

Day 1000
Today I am 1000 days old! Wow! That is a lot. At least I think it is. I’m not really sure. If I’m 1000 days old, I wonder how many days old Daddy is? (Daddy: 16,805) I had a great goofy day. I was so happy that it was a Sunday. When I wake upContinue reading “Day 1000”
Playtime
Although I love playing with my vehicles, I do also make time to play with other toys, like my stuffed animals and building blocks.
Ehomaki
It is tradition to eat ehomaki on setsubun. It is supposed to represent longevity. I consumed my longevity very quickly and deliciously. I like traditions that involve eating delicious food.
Shopping helper
When we go shopping I’m quite the little helper. I push the shopping cart around and help pick things up that we need. Sometimes I pick up things that we don’t need as well.

Setsubun
Today is Setsubun and we learned about the origin of the celebration and the meaning of the changing of the seasons. After sitting nicely and learning about this, some of us did mamemaki and threw beanbags at an ogre poster. They wore masks to do this so I chose not to participate. After that weContinue reading “Setsubun”

Birthday cake
Daddy came home early enough today for us to celebrate his birthday properly with a happy birthday song and cake. I even threw in a happy birthday dance to make things more festive.
English lesson and colorful noodles
We had our English lesson today and as usual had a lot of fun learning. I’m often the first if not the only person to answer the English questions, but today it was a new topic for me so I really concentrated on learning the new words. We made colorful noodles today. My teacher askedContinue reading “English lesson and colorful noodles”

Happy Birthday Daddy!
I helped Mommy decorate the house for Daddy’s birthday, but he had to work late so we weren’t able to celebrate properly. We just took some photos and are planning to have cake tomorrow. But that doesn’t mean I don’t get to steal his thunder with all my posing in front of the decorations.
Practicing laughing
I was being silly and practicing laughing but I wouldn’t let Mommy get a full recording before demanding to see the video to check how it looked. I needed to see the recording right away.
Jumping and clay
It was a rainy day today so we couldn’t go out for our walk. But that doesn’t mean we didn’t stay active. We had a lot of fun playing on the gym mats and we did a lot of awesome jumping. Then we had some calmer play time with clay. Even when the weather isContinue reading “Jumping and clay”
New “Sonic” shoes
My new shoes arrived today! My old ones were getting quite beat up and holes started to appear where parts of the shoes fell off. I only had them for about half a year but they get pretty well worn. So I needed new shoes and found a pair that I liked online. They areContinue reading “New “Sonic” shoes”
Concrete mixer
At the park today I noticed a concrete mixer and was fascinated by it. I like all construction vehicles. I noticed the lights were flashing so I wondered if it would start working but it did not. After watching the concrete mixer a bit I went to play with my friends. We ran around aContinue reading “Concrete mixer”
Fun at the park
On our way to the park we spotted a cat that got our full attention. At the park we flew our kites and then got into a very serious game of hide-and-seek. Then we just ran around and had fun! The time to head back to school came all too soon.
Posing and copying
I can be a funny goofball, especially because Daddy is a funny goofball. I like to copy him a lot. Today we took some posing pictures and we also had fun asking, “Are you happy?” and answering, “Yes, I am.”
