Today was a sunny day so we went to the park to fly the kites that we made. It was so much fun! They really did fly! Well, they didn’t exactly soar, but they were off the ground for the most part. We also played with bubbles. First our teacher blew bubbles and then we
Today’s pre-bath pants hat looked like a topknot. I liked how the waistband squished down on my eyes. Daddy tried to fix it so it didn’t but I insisted he put it back down.
These past few days when Daddy has been giving me my bath I have been randomly telling him “happy” out of the blue. We might be in the middle of a conversation or I might be getting my hair shampooed when I just say “happy”. Often more than once. I think this makes Daddy very happy to hear. Daddy
It was rainy today so we couldn’t go for our walk at school. Instead we played on the trampoline. The trampoline was fun, but I enjoyed lining up for it more because it was like I was a train on a track. We also made and decorated kites. We plan to fly them the next
This is my body, and it is beautiful! It is important to express your body in its true form. (By the way, that is my pants on my head.)
After a long school day, I just want to sit back, relax, and watch some TV. Mommy is nice enough to do all the cooking to allow me this much needed me-time. Then I get to enjoy the wonderful meal that she prepares. Thank you, Mommy!
On our school walk we visited the nearby shrine. I was not that excited since I had just been there a couple of days ago. But there were some new things to see. We all enjoyed looking at the different stalls that lined the streets nearby. We also enjoyed a monkey performance. Boy that is
The hardest thing about winter time baths is getting out of the bath. It is so nice and warm in the bath that coming out is quite a shock. I don’t even want to get unwrapped from my towel to put clothes on. It is just too cold!
I always have fun at the park, but today I made extra sure that Mommy and Daddy also joined in on the fun. They had a ton of fun, but I think I may have worn them out. I might have to take their age into consideration next time.
We headed out to dinner, but the weather turned cold real fast. I was pretty cold so we stopped by a store and found these awesome police car gloves to keep my hands warm. I was very happy to have them! With my toasty gloves on, I did not mind the walk to the restaurant
We went to a nearby shrine for hatsumode, or the first shrine visit of the year. Before we went Daddy was trying to teach me how to pray at the shrine. I did pretty good, but added my own silly twist to it. The shrine visit went well. I even got my fortune and it
Recently, there is more cross over with my toys when I play with them. One of my favorite things to do is make houses and car transporters for my HotWheels out of Magnatiles. I sometimes have Daddy make things for me based on the pictures on the box, but other times I come up with
I really miss Nana and Papa since we’ve been back in Japan. I have been asking about where they are. Daddy tells me they are in Hawaii, but I still don’t quite understand why they weren’t on the flight to Japan with us. It was nice to chat with them today, but it is not
I am so curious about how I look in videos that I often can’t wait until the video is finished being taken before I want to view it. I just want to make sure I look good.
Some days we have no particular plans so I just find fun things to do around the house. The nice thing is that I can jump from activity to activity in short intervals and always come back to something later on.
I can be a bit of a goofball sometimes. Sometimes I just have to make a funny/silly/dramatic pose when saying something simple. Like today when I said samui, or cold, I had to add a bit of kabuki flair to it.
Whenever Starbucks comes out with a new drink, Daddy likes to treat Mommy to it. Usually that means that I get a taste too. Although when I’m supposed to just have a “sip” a large portion of the drink disappears.
Hawaii has great food, but for the best ramen you can’t find better than Japan. Especially Hakata ramen! Oh so delicious!
