Advent Market
We went to the Advent Market to take some pictures of the illumination, but we did not stay very long because it was quite cold. We went to a nearby udon restaurant for dinner to warm up. That made me quite happy!

I often don’t like my photo taken. I don’t like videos of me taken either. But I do like looking at photos and videos of me. So although I complain, I grudgingly allow photos and videos, just so that I can view them later.
We had a rhythmic session today. We made music, danced around, and did “go”/”stop” with the music. We had a lot of rhythmic fun! It was a rainy day so we played indoors. We had a lot of fun making Christmas cards with cut-outs and glue.
I often wake up in the middle of the night and find myself alone in bed. I seek Mommy out and she puts me back to sleep. Note: It has to be Mommy. Daddy just won’t do.
It was a uncharacteristically snowy day today, so we didn’t go for a walk. Instead we played with clay! It was a lot of fun to make all kinds of interesting creations! I made ice cream of a many flavors.
I no longer sit in my chair for breakfast. I sit on Daddy’s lap and watch Carl’s Carwash while eating breakfast. It is nice cuddly way to start the day.
I’m still not toilet trained, but I have taken an interest in it. I still occasionally announce that I want to sit on the toilet. To give me the time necessary to possibly “go” Mommy and Daddy let me use the iPad, but it still did not happen this time. Maybe next time.
I started off this morning at school missing Mommy fiercely. I was crying and telling my teachers, “I want Mommy.” It never really happened before. I eventually calmed down, but it was an unstable day. Little things like not getting to play with the toy I wanted triggered me to say, “I want Mommy,” and
I always enjoy our English lessons at nursery school. It is my chance to use my English at school. I always have no problem answering Aaron-sensei’s questions. A lot of my classmates end up learning from my answers as well as Aaron-sensei’s lessons. After our lesson we visited the prefectural office and enjoyed the city
Our current morning routine starts off with watching Carl’s Carwash on my Super Simple Songs app. I can watch the same episodes over and over again. I am not really a morning person but when Daddy wakes me up by saying, “Do you want to watch Carl’s Carwash” I rise in a zombie like fashion
Sunday mornings are awesome. We can relax and there is no rush to go anywhere. We just hang out on the couch, watch TV, and eat breakfast. All days should start off like this.
We got together with my friend again today and started off with a trip to Costco. We all needed some things and the grownups were picking up sushi for dinner. It was not as entertaining for us kids, but we were okay with the wait because of my Super Simple Songs app. My friend also
I’m getting to be quite independent. I like to do a lot of things on my own. Recently I noticed Daddy using the shoehorn in the morning so I wanted to copy him. I don’t quite get how to use it, but I plan to work on it. I am also quite good and zipping
We had a school recital today. We had been practicing for quite some time and I was getting pretty good at the singing and dancing. But I don’t really like these events. There are too many people and too much pressure. And there are costumes to wear. As you can see, I actually made a
It was rainy today so we couldn’t go out for our walk. We stayed in instead and had indoor activities, which were also a lot of fun. We did some coloring and played with stickers. We also did some puzzles. Of course I chose the puzzle with vehicles.
We got home from a weeknight dinner out and I was in a great mood despite it being past my bedtime. I’m very chatting during my baths and even after I kept talking and singing. Tonight I sang the potato song. I do a pretty good job of memorizing the words and even the dance that the potatoes
Mommy’s friend from when she lived in Perth was visiting Japan so we went out to dinner with her and her family. I was quite well behaved, mainly because there was so much good food. I had my first taste of really good (expensive) wagyu beef. It was so good it just melted in your mouth. I entered into
