The Thing

Today I was waking up from my nap and I encountered The Thing! It oozed into the room. I wasn’t surprised or anything. I just ran up to it on hopped on top to play.

Chatting and playing

When we have our Facetime with Nana and Papa I like to show them a lot of my toys or how I play. Today they got to watch me play with Magna-tiles and even play the piano…with a firetruck. I think they were quite impressed.

Potty practice

Every so often I choose to hop on the potty and give it another try. So far nothing comes out, but it is good practice.

After glamping nap

It seems that Daddy was tuckered out from all the glamping. He did drive all the way there and back while I took a nap. Have a good nap, Daddy.

Practicing thumbs up

You may remember from a previous post that I do thumbs up with a single index finger instead of my thumb. Well, we’re working on that.

Vehicle sandwiches

We had some leftover food from glamping so Daddy made ham and cheese vehicle sandwiches for me for lunch. I liked them a lot and had fun eating them! But I kind of deconstructed them when I ate them so maybe he didn’t have to go through all the trouble of making sandwiches in the

Glamping

We decided to go glamping this weekend. It was both a planned thing and a last minute thing. We had talked about it earlier this week but it wasn’t a for sure thing until Friday. So after a lot quick packing we headed out glamping on Saturday. I was very excited about the tent. It

Drink coughing

I was so excited to get to drink some juice tonight that I had a bit of a coughing fit.

Unwinding in front of the TV

At the end of some days the first thing you get home you just want to relax and unwind in front of the TV.

Looking for grasshoppers

I spent a lot of time at our park visit looking for grasshoppers, but I also managed to fit in some chase. I tend to like to chase others than be chased these days.

Flipping forward

It started off as airplane on Daddy’s leg but now it is more of forward flip and I love it!

Expressing myself

I’m getting much better at expressing my feelings at school, and I have less incidences of throwing, hitting, or biting. Instead I tell my teachers how I’m feeling, what I want to do and what I don’t want to do. When it is nap time and I don’t want to nap, I tell my teachers

Thumbs up

We always enjoy lunch time at school! The school cook always does a great job making everything healthy and delicious. She also always has seconds on hand for us big eaters. It was so good that I gave it my thumbs up. (Yeah, I know it is not my thumb. I’m working on it.)

Watching music videos on the way to school

Part of our new going to school routine is I get to watch one kids’ song video at the beginning of our walk. It helps motivate me to leave the house and it puts a smile on my face at the beginning of the walk. And I’m very good about it only being one song.
