When my friend came over today we had a nagashi somen party! Nagashi somen is a common summer food in Japan. Often you eat it at a bbq or at a camp. What you do is you get a long hollowed out bamboo and make into a trough. Then you send some water down it
My friend is coming over to play today. I’m just passing the time until she gets here by reading a book.
I helped Daddy cook breakfast again. Today we had hashbrowns and eggs! I did most of the mixing!
I’m just taking break and watching some TV with Mommy while Daddy makes dinner. It’s nice to have some quiet time sometimes.
While shopping we found a bus driving simulator. You know how much I love buses so I just had to give it go. I took the wheel and did a really good job. I got all my passengers to their destinations safely!
Mommy and I ran into a lion while shopping today. We were coming back from the restroom and we got to take a picture of a lion who was the mascot for Lion Corporation (they make soaps and cleaners and hygiene products and other stuff). I was not that thrilled. I prefer Johnson & Johnson
Even when Daddy comes home late he spends every second he can with me. I know he must be tired, but when I comes home I get so excited and we get right to playing.
After dinner, I had to get me some more of that delicious Tokyo Banana! Look how excited I am! You can see how delicious it is. Yum!
Indoor play with beads and hoops! It doesn’t sound like much but it was a lot of fun!
Today is Tanabata so we learned about the legend behind it. We all listened very intently. It is a very interesting story and I encourage you to look it up and learn about it. Then we took pictures in front of the Milky Way and our bamboo tree with all of our tanabata wishes.
As soon as I finished getting ready for school I got right to playing my cars. I enjoy playing with my toys and Daddy, and I don’t need every moment of my life recorded. Jeez, Daddy, put the phone away and live in the moment.
Daddy bought Tokyo Banana as an omiyage from his business trip to Tokyo. Tokyo Banana is a very famous banana flavored cream filled cake that people buy when on trips in Tokyo. It was my first time eating it and I loved it! I already love eating bananas, but this was so much better! Yum!
On our walk home from school, Mommy and I always find interesting things to look at. I found a bunch of cicada husks. I resisted taking them home.
We had our English lesson today, which I just love! I like the stories, songs, and pictures. We are all really into it. But after the lesson my buddy and I just wanted to hang, chill, and just relax. We cool, we cool.
Daddy’s home! And he brought a souvenir for me! I’m so very happy to see Daddy and I missed him so much! But I’m very excited about my souvenir. It is a set of JAL airport vehicles. It has an airplane (which I have already) a stair truck, and a bus! I love the gift,
I heard that Daddy is coming home tonight. I’ll be asleep when he arrives but that means he’ll be here when I wake up tomorrow. So just one more meal until Daddy’s home.
